Eighteen - Favor

It's been a few minutes since I've watched the royalties with their serious meeting today about the Black Dragons who actually made Michi a punching bag again. According to them, the leader is Hakkai-kun and Yuzuha-san's oldest brother. It was a mess.

My eyes grew when Hakkai-kun urgently requested to leave Toman as he bowed to Mikey.

"Stop right there! I object!"

It was Takemichi. I nervously bit my lower lip and watched him disrupt the conversation.

Ah, Michi. I don't think that's such a great idea.

He glanced at Chifuyu-kun who cheered him a thumbs up, making it look like they had a plan. I supposed it'd be a crappy plan, knowing them both as dimwits, and surely, Chifuyu-kun's the one who made that plan.

Well, if there really is a plan.

I covered my eyes when Michi told Mikey to calm down and handed him a dorayaki which Mikey only rejected by slapping it away. I scooped my face in embarrassment. I saw some tears in Takemichi's eyes when he glanced back at Chifuyu-kun who only returned him the same gesture.

These two... my goodness.

"What's your decision, Mikey?" Draken-kun plainly asked.

Mikey, who's sitting on his throne, turned to him with his stern expression that made him look more like the king of all these royalties.

"I'll leave it up to Mitsuya, since he's the second division captain," he concluded.

I calmed myself down by breathing slowly and deeply. It's just that ever since, the situations keep getting worse. Baji-san's gone. What more could even happen? I could only remember Takashi's words to Hakkai-kun when they decided to meet up with Taiju.

"Don't hate the situation you're born into..."

Sad grins plastered on my face as I saw Yuzuha-san sauntering towards me from her home after our meeting ended. The same sad smiles were on her face. I waved at her in a lousy manner and she did too, letting me recall the first time we've met.

"Oh? A Toman?"

A tall guy with a royal blue crew haircut that has a swirl design on it, and a scar on his face was roaming around while pushing a cart in the groceries. He's in his Toman uniform that's why I noticed. A slight amusement came to me when he picked a package of napkin from the women section.

Must be for his girlfriend. He must be a nice boyfriend, then.

I shrugged and turned to lift my toes a little to get the last yogurt which another girl also tried getting. We surprisingly looked at each other when our fingertips touched by reaching out for the same product. Her hair's long and her eyes are quite big and exquisite.

She's very pretty. A lot like Emma and Hina-chan and the girl I've always admired before whenever I go to the library.

"Y-you can take it." I smiled awkwardly, letting her have the product.

"It's okay. I'll just tell my little brother the stock's gone," she said, smiling with her pretty features.

"Oh, uh, okay." I grabbed it and faced her again. "On second thought, you should give this to your little brother." I stretched my hand out to her.

I just realized that she's still wearing a school uniform. She and her brother must be very young.

"Your brother must be very young for you to buy him his goods," I added, making her giggle which puzzled me. "Oh, uh... am I wrong?"

She briefly chuckled and twisted her neck to yell for someone. "Hey, Hakkai! Come here a sec!"

To my surprise, it was the Toman guy I noticed earlier. He was even taller than I thought when he's already in front of me. My brows made a crease when his eyes were set on a different direction as if I'm invisible. The girl pointed at him with her thumb.
