Chapter 8: The First Date

It had been a couple of weeks since Shaun and Brianna confessed their feelings for each other and they had been planning their first date together.

They had planned out where they would be going to eat and they made reservations and since then, they have been looking forward to it.

Brianna had just come backstage after her match that she won at an nxt house show and Maddie had just gotten into her ring gear and she was sat with her friends and she passed Brianna her phone as Maddie was asked to look after Brianna's phone during her match where she had received a text from Shaun.

Maddie: hey Bri, I think you've got a text waiting for you.

Brianna: thanks Maddie, good luck in your match.

Maddie: thanks girl.

Maddie left for her match and Brianna went to her locker room and she sat on a chair for a moment while she checked her messages.
She had a cute smile on her face as she saw that her boyfriend, Shaun had texted her.

Shaun: hey mousey, what you up to ?

Brianna then proceeded to reply to him.

Brianna: hi Shaun, just finished my match and I'm going to have a shower, what about you ?

Shaun: I'm currently on my break with Jack, Tyler, Matt and Jess.

Brianna: have you made any progress on your supra project today ?

Shaun: actually, yes I have because I've managed to finish changes to the interior and next I'll be putting the body kit and rims and when I've done that, all that'll be left to do is some engine mods.

Brianna: it sounds like you're nearly done, are you looking forward to driving it.

Shaun: oh yeah definitely.

Brianna: can i be the first one to have a ride in it ?

Shaun: of course baby.

Brianna blushes a bit whenever Shaun would call her baby, she also likes that he still calls her mousey.

They continued talking over text for a little bit longer.

Brianna: so what have you got planned for the rest of the day ?

Shaun: well, after work, I'm just going to chill at my place, what about you ? What have you got planned ?

Brianna: I'm going to be hanging with the girls for a little bit after the show.

Shaun: okay, I'll see you soon and I'm looking forward to our first date. 😉

Brianna: so am i.

Shaun: see you soon mousey.

Brianna: see you soon baby.

Brianna put her phone down and got up from the chair she was sat on and she went to have her shower.
After her shower, Brianna rejoined her friends and then they left when the show was over.

Meanwhile, Shaun was back home after a busy day at the auto shop and he was sat on his couch talking on FaceTime with his sister and he was talking to her about his date with Brianna tomorrow.

Sydney: so doodle, i bet you're pretty excited about your date tomorrow huh ?

Shaun: definitely, I'm looking forward to it.
