Chapter 15 Part 1: Visiting Manchester

It had been a few weeks since Shaun and his brothers and sister had found out about their father wanting to meet them and they had all made plans to meet him at the airport and spend a few days with him at his family home in Manchester.

A little bit of time had passed and it was now the day when Shaun and his mother, brothers and sister would fly to Manchester, England to meet his biological father.

It was early in the morning, and Shaun had just finished packing and Brianna was there with him as she had spent the night with him before he left for Manchester.

Brianna: is that it for packing baby ?

Shaun: yep, it certainly is, I'll take these downstairs.

Brianna: I'll help you.

Brianna grabbed one of Shaun's suitcases.

Shaun: thank you gorgeous.

Brianna followed Shaun downstairs and they placed Shaun's suitcases down by the couch and Shaun proceeded to make them some breakfast before he had to head to the airport for the flight to Manchester.

After they ate breakfast together, Shaun cleaned up and then Brianna waited with him for Jess as she told Shaun that she would look after his dog, Frankie.

Jess eventually arrived and picked Frankie up along with some dog food and some of his toys and she took him back to her place.

Then, it came time for Shaun to leave his house and head to the airport and so he made sure that his cars were safe and secure in the garage and then he locked his house up.

Brianna then helped Shaun put his suitcases in the trunk of her car as she was going to drive him to the airport not only to help him out but also so that she could spend as much time with him as possible as she knew that she would miss him so much but she also knew that going to Manchester with his family to meet his biological father was something that he had to do and she wasn't going to get in the way of that.

They got in Brianna's car and she headed for the airport.

While they were driving, they were talking to each other and at one point while there was traffic, Shaun could tell that she was really going to miss him and so he told her about how he was going to miss her too.

Shaun: I'm going to miss you too, you know.

Brianna: huh ?

Shaun: I can tell that your going to miss me while I'm in Manchester with my mum, brothers and sister.

Brianna: yeah, I'm going to miss you but I also know how important this is to you, going to meet your biological dad for the first time since you were a little kid.

Shaun: thanks for understanding babe, I love you so much and I'll be counting down the days until I'm back with you.

Shaun kissed Brianna on the cheek which made her smile adorably and then Shaun placed his hand gently on her thigh and kept it there for the whole drive to the airport.

When they arrived at the airport, Brianna stopped at the front and Shaun turned to face her and he placed one hand on the side of her face as he looked into her eyes.

Shaun: thank you for driving me here baby.

Brianna: you're welcome babe.

Shaun: I'm really going to miss you, you know that right ?

Brianna nodded.

Brianna: and I'm going to miss you too baby.

Shaun smiled lovingly and then they kissed each other for a few moments and then they begrudgingly pulled away from each other and they got out of Brianna's car.
