Chapter 11: Brianna's Birthday

It had been a few months since Shaun started working on the engine and things were going smoothly.
The end of his supra project was getting closer and Shaun started reminiscing about the day he first started the project when the supra was just a wrecked shell of it's former self.

Jack was also nearing the end of his eclipse project and one day, they were talking about when they have both finished their car projects, they would take them to a car meet with Jess, Tyler, Matt and their boss, Hector.

Jack: so what do you think about taking these cars to a car meet once they are done ? I remember it being talked about once and since then, it wasn't mentioned after that.

Shaun: yeah, I think it'll be great to do that, we have just got to look up when the next car meet is in town and hope it's after we've finished our cars and not on the same day as Brianna's birthday.

Jack: oh yeah, that's not going to be much longer is it ? It's in a couple of months isn't it ?

Shaun: yeah.

Jack: have you thought about what you're going to be doing for her birthday ?

Shaun: I've thought about throwing her a birthday party and inviting her friends and family.

Shaun had recently been thinking about throwing a birthday party for Brianna and inviting her friends and family but was still thinking about whether it should be a surprise birthday party.

Jack: that's a good idea.

Shaun: my only thought left about the party is whether it should be a surprise or not.

Jack: have it as a surprise, you take her out somewhere for the day and then while you're both out, we'll set everything up in time.

Shaun: really ? Your offering to help ?

Jack: yeah of course, you're my brother and i know how much you love Brianna.

Shaun: yeah, I do love her and i want her to have a great birthday.

Jack: she will, and she loves you as well, you should see the way she looks at you when you don't see her, she looooooves you, and I've seen the way you look at her too, the feelings definitely mutual between you two.

Shaun: thanks.

Jack: don't mention it, now let's carry on with our cars because we haven't got long until we're both done.

Shaun: I know right ? it's almost like we can picture ourselves driving them pretty soon.

Jack: yeah, I'm really looking forward to these firing up for the first time.

Meanwhile, Brianna was backstage after a house show and she was sat with two of her friends, Faith and Stephanie and Faith brought up the topic of her birthday.

Faith: so Bri, what will you be doing for your birthday ?

Brianna: I don't know to be honest, I haven't really been thinking about it much because we've been doing more of the NXT house shows recently.

Stephanie: you really don't know what you're doing at all ?

Brianna: no, I honestly haven't thought about it.

Then, Sydney and Carla came around the corner and joined Brianna, Faith and Stephanie.

Sydney: hey guys, what going on ?

Faith: we're just talking to Brianna about her birthday.

Carla: yeah, what are you thinking about doing ?

Stephanie: she just told us she hasn't thought about it.

Then, as Brianna was talking with her friends, Sydney saw that she had a text on her phone from her brother and Brianna's boyfriend, Shaun and so she texted him back when he texted her asking if she could help set up a surprise birthday party for Brianna.
