Chapter 22: A Drive With Friends

Shaun and Brianna had been spending more time together than they usually have before and today was no different as Brianna stayed the night at Shaun's house and Shaun was the first to wake up.

As his eyes opened, he saw Brianna lying on top of him with her face nuzzled in between his neck and shoulder.

He smiled at her and he wrapped his arms around her and he kissed her forehead which her tighten her grip around him as she kissed his neck a few times.

They stayed in bed for a little bit longer and then they both had a shower and got changed into some clothes.

They then went downstairs and Shaun made them both some breakfast and while they were eating, they decided that they were going to spend the day with their friends and so Shaun dropped Brianna off at her place after they had breakfast and then Shaun came back and group texted his friends as he wanted to go on a drive through the valleys.

Shaun: hey guys, a little bit sudden but do any of you want to go on a drive through the valleys with me ?

Tyler: hell yeah bro.

Matt: definitely dude.

Jess: just let us know when you're on your way.

Shaun: okay, I'll just get my supra and we'll meet in car park for the diner in the city.

Tyler: see you there man.

Matt: okay, see you soon.

Jess: see you guys there.

Shaun put his phone back in his pocket and he grabs the keys to my supra and he then gets it out of the garage and he locks the house and garage up.

Shaun then gets into his supra and heads to the diner where is friends will be waiting for him in the car park.

He arrives and sees his friends waiting for him and so he drives into the car park and greets them with a honk of the horn and then he parks his supra next to their cars and gets out of it and locks it up.

They all then decide to have something quick to eat at the diner and after they paid for what they had, they got back onto the road in their cars and headed towards the valleys.

When they reach the start of the valleys, they start to speed up a bit and they drive along a road that had a river stream along the the left side of the road and on the right side, had the start of some of the mountains in the valleys.

The valleys were one their most favourite places to put their feet down in their car not just because of the roads not being too tightly cornered but also because it was very scenic as well.

We drove through the valleys and when they were starting to slow down, Shaun noticed that the nearby stretch of land had a strip of road on it and he and Tyler looked at each other and they nodded at each other and got Jess and Matt to follow them over there.

When they all reached that piece of land, they drove around the area and they could tell by some of the buildings that were around that it was an abandoned airstrip and so they parked their cars and got out and as they leaned against their cars, the gears were turning in their heads.

Shaun: now I think I speak for all of us when I say that I think we should do a spot of racing here, what do you guys think ?

Jess: hell yeah.

Tyler: let's do it bro.

Matt: fuck yeah man !

Shaun: so who's going first then.... Actually let's all go first, it'll be like the races from one of the first two fast and furious movies we used to watch back in our high school days.
