Chapter 17: Change Of Direction

A few months have passed since Shaun took Brianna on a road trip and everything was going well between them.

Both Sydney's title reign and Brianna and Carla's title reign have had great matches but that was about to change however as they all have just come off a group phone call involving creative and the direction of their trio.

Brianna had just put her phone down after the call and she didn't know how she felt about the changes coming and so she just got into her car after locking her place up and she drove straight to Shaun's place.

She eventually arrived and she locked her car up after getting out of it and then she walked right up to Shaun's front door.

Meanwhile, Shaun has just come downstairs and he heard a knock at the door.

Shaun: I wasn't expecting anyone.

Shaun walked up to the door with his dog right behind him and he opened the door and to his pleasant surprise, he saw Brianna stood there.

Shaun: hey, there's my girl, how are you doing babe ?

Brianna: I'm okay, I guess.

Shaun could sense that there was something wrong and so he put his hand on her shoulder and brought her inside his house.

Shaun: come on inside, you can talk to me while you rest your head on my lap on the couch.

Brianna: okay.

Shaun closed the door behind them and they both went over to the couch.
Shaun sat down on the couch and he placed a pillow on his lap and he patted it.

Shaun: come lay down her and tell me everything.

Brianna laid down on the couch and rested her head on the pillow and she began to tell Shaun about the group phone call while he gently ran his fingers through her hair.

Brianna: I just got done with a group phone call between me, Sydney, Carla and someone from creative.

Shaun: okay.

Brianna: they wanted to talk to us about maybe breaking up the trio.

Shaun: and how are you feeling about that ?

Brianna: honestly, I'm not happy about it because that means that me and my best friends won't be working together as much but on the other hand, it's awesome and I'm happy about it because they are talking about having Sydney possibly being called up to either raw or smackdown.

Shaun: what about you and Carla ? Does that mean you both are staying in NXT for a bit longer ?

Brianna: yeah, I'll be turning heel on Carla who will be staying as a babyface, what do you think about it ?

Shaun took a moment to think about it and then he told Brianna what he thought.

Shaun: honestly, this could mean something better for you.

Brianna: what do you mean ?

Shaun: well this could mean that you could potentially go for the title, maybe at a future NXT takeover event, you and Carla could possibly have a match between each other for the NXT women's title.

Brianna: that would be cool now that you mention it and to be honest, now that I'm thinking about all the possibilities for me, Carla and Sydney that could come of this.

Shaun smiled and he kissed her on her forehead.

Shaun: that's my girl, are you feeling any better about it ?

Brianna: yeah, you know what ? I am, thank you baby.

Shaun: for what ?

Brianna: for calming my nerves about this whole thing.
