Chapter 9: Jack Finally Confesses

It was the morning after Brianna's date with Shaun and she had just woken up from a good nights rest and her mind turned to the date from last night with Shaun and she couldn't stop smiling as she let out an adorable giggle.

She sat up in her bed and stretched as she yawned and then she grabbed her phone and texted Shaun good morning.

Meanwhile, Shaun was also just waking up and he heard the notification tone for his phone go off and so he grabbed his phone and saw that Brianna had texted him.
Shaun smiled at this and he responded to Brianna's good morning text message.

Brianna: good morning ! 😍

Shaun: good morning to you too gorgeous, how are you doing ? 😘

Brianna: I'm good, I'm just going to have some breakfast and then get my ring gear packed for the road after I've walked my dog, what about you ?

Shaun: well, I'll be working at the auto shop today with Jack, Tyler, Jess and Matt and hopefully today, I'll be able to start putting the body kit on my supra which will mean the only thing after that is the engine that needs to go in and then it'll be finished after that.

Brianna: i can't wait to see it when it's done babe.

Shaun: I'll take you on a drive through the valleys if you would like me to when it's finished.

Brianna: yes please, I'd like that a lot.

Shaun: okay, then that's settled.

Brianna: I'd love to stay a while longer and talk to you some more but i have to get going and get ready to get to the first of few nxt shows which includes a tv episode taping.

Shaun: okay, good luck on that beautiful, even though you don't need it. 😉

Brianna: thanks.

Shaun: see you soon mousey.

Brianna: see you soon baby. 😘

After responding to his girlfriend's text, Shaun got out of bed and he had a shower and then got changed and walked Frankie after having breakfast.

When he came back from walking Frankie, Shaun gave him a dog treat and left the house and headed to work in his skyline.

Meanwhile, Brianna was now sat in the back of Sydney's car and Carla was sat in the passenger seat and Carla began asking Brianna questions about her date with Shaun.

Carla: so Brianna.

Brianna: yeah ?

Carla: how did your date go ?

Carla saw that Brianna had the cutest smile on her, Sydney also saw her smile as she looked into the rear view mirror.

Sydney: it went well huh Bri ?

Brianna: yeah, i had such an great time with Shaun, one of my favourite parts was when we danced together on the promenade while music from a nearby concert was playing and we looked into each other's eyes.

Carla and Sydney: awww.

For most of the drive to the show they are wrestling on, Brianna told Sydney and Carla all about her date with Shaun and while she told them about it, she was blushing and smiling the whole time and when they eventually arrived at the show and they were getting out of Sydney's car, they were met by Faith and Stephanie who were also curious about how Brianna's date went and so Brianna started to tell them about how her date with Shaun went as they all headed to the backstage area to hang out for a bit before they got into their ring gear.
