It was the week of NXT takeover in which Sydney, Carla and Brianna all had title shots at the show.
It was a warm early afternoon and Shaun was at work with his friends Tyler, Matt and Jess and his brother Jack and while they were all currently working on fitting some aftermarket engine parts on a 1998 Nissan 240sx se they all got to talking about their personal lives and Jess asked Shaun and Jack about Brianna and Carla having title matches along with their sister Sydney.
Jess: so guys, when do Brianna, Carla and Sydney have their title matches ?
Jack: this week.
Shaun: yeah, Brianna and Carla have the NXT tag team title match and Syd has a match for the NXT women's title.
Tyler: are both of you going ?
Jack: oh yeah, we'll both going to see them do their thing and the next day, we'll be going on a double date.
Matt: where you thinking of going ?
Shaun: well we're letting the girls pick where to eat and then after that, we're just going to go bowling and hang out with Syd and her boyfriend who will join us when we go mini golfing.
Jack then asked Jess, Tyler and Matt about what they have got going on in their lives.
Jack: have you guys got anything planned ?
Jess: I'm going to be catching up with family.
Matt: I'll be going on a date with a girl I met on the internet.
Tyler: me and Kylie are going away for a couple of days.
Shaun: things are going well between you two then ?
Tyler: yeah man, everything's been awesome.
Jess then asked Tyler if he loves Kylie.
Jess: hey Ty, do you love her ?
Tyler nodded with a warm smile on his face.
Tyler: yeah, if I'm being honest, I do love her.
Shaun and Matt patted Tyler on his back.
Jack: does she know you love her ?
Tyler: I think in some way she might but I'll be telling her when we go away for a couple of days.
The rest of the day went by and it was now night time and Shaun was now calling Brianna over FaceTime on his phone and as he was sat on his couch when she accepted the call, a smile on Shaun's face had appeared when he saw her on the phone screen.
Shaun: hey there you are, how are you doing beautiful ?
Brianna: hey baby, I'm good, I'm just laying on my couch after working out with the girls, what about you ? What did you get up to at work today ?
Shaun: well there was a car that came in and me, Jack, Matt, Tyler and Jess were all working on it and at one point, we got to talking about NXT takeover when you, Syd and Carla have your title matches and me and Jack were talking about our double date the day after takeover.
Brianna: oh I'm looking forward to that, and the mini golf were all doing together as well.
Shaun: that's going to be fun, but I'm looking forward to seeing you, Syd and Carla win those titles the most.
Brianna: really ?
Shaun: yeah, of course i am babe, you all deserve this because you've earned it.
Brianna has always loved how proud Shaun is of her.
Brianna: thank you for being so proud of me baby.
