Chan lifted the black curtain and a shaft of golden light beamed out from behind it. "Still too early."

He hadn't been able to sleep at all, too excited to get to the Red Castle and purchase his family a donor.

They'd already gone too long without one.

"Channie? Why are you up?" Felix was standing behind him, rubbing his eyes tiredly.

"Sorry. I couldn't rest. My energy is too high."

"Share my bed." He demanded, white-blond hair falling in front of his eyes.

Chan took his hand, squeezing it once and letting him lead them back downstairs. Felix's coffin was exceptionally comfortable, overstuffed and lined with plushies. They crawled in together, closing the lid and drifting back to sleep.

Hyunjin woke them up, his eyes still closed, shaking them wordlessly and pointing towards the bottom of the stairs.

Seungmin was already dressed, looking handsome and deadly in his dark attire.

They all needed to wear suits since it was a place of business- and Chan needed to get the best deal. It wasn't that they didn't have money. All vampire families did- if they didn't spend a few thousand years underground sleeping- but Chan was saving up for a few other things as well, and he couldn't blow it all on one human. Hopefully they could have a few donors in the next hundred years or so. If they found a good one, they might even turn them, but then they'd only end up needing more.

"Oh, SeungMIN you look good." Felix purred, climbing out and putting his hands on his hips.

"I look ready. And I see that none of you do." The regal man deadpanned, completely uninterested in his advance.

"You are so cold."

"Of course he's cold. He's dead." Hyunjin joked from the door, already dressed himself.

Chan grimaced. "That was very lame."

"Agreed." Seungmin chimed in, climbing up to stand beside him.

Felix stormed playfully past the two, returning with his own suit on. "Come ON Channie you were the one who couldn't wait to get there."

"I know, I know." He finished straightening the final plushie and ran upstairs himself to slip on his own suit.

The driver showed up a few minutes late, which WOULD come out of his tip. The whole ordeal was going to cost him. They couldn't arrive in a car because the Red Castle specifically and famously had no parking. A driver was necessary to drop them off, for looks, and to ensure only the owners of the dealer knew which location it would be in.

Felix was messing with the window, blowing Hyunjin's magnificent and impressive hair about, causing him to whine and hold it down.
"Hyuunnggg. Make him stop."

"Felix? Professional." The eldest whispered, hoping there weren't cameras or voice recorders in the car. The blond hissed and left it down.

"Hyung!"

"Felix! Now."

Mumbling that even their impressive hearing couldn't pick up as he rolled it closed.

It was kind of a shady idea. They WOULD be buying a human to feed off of- but it was the only way to live comfortably. He was tired of befriending people at the university and using them. His coven was starving. Chan was not willing to use the scant friends he'd made for more than a pint or two at a time once every month or so. And the mice they bought from the local pet stores weren't satisfying. Besides, it was risky to live without one. There had already been a few 'occurrences' when one of his coven had become too hungry to stifle the urge and mauled some random stranger in the street. He was just lucky no one had ever died.
