Chan didn't tell anyone that Chanyeol called. Not yet. The spirit of the house was at an all-time high. He wouldn't be the one to ruin it. Not yet anyway.

Jisung hadn't been with Minho since they roomed together, but he'd been fooling around with Hyunjin. And if it wasn't clear from their heavy glances and even heavier hands, it was obvious because Hyunjin boasted about how good he sounded with two fingers in his mouth.

"Seriously Channie. You have to hear him. He's so loud. And he curses like a sailor! I swear it."

Felix loved the gritty details. Chan did too- though he never said it out loud- and Seungmin seemed to be getting more and more jealous- as Hyunjin had probably hoped he would. They'd been loving rivals for too many years. Adding fresh meat to tenderize was like ringing a dinner bell.

At least it gave Felix time to explore whatever he had going on with Innie.

And Chan time to help Minho.

The human was like a baby chick after the episode in the bathroom. He followed him nearly everywhere- making sassy comments the whole time of course- but Chan didn't mind. It seemed like the emotional release and following isolation- during the day that is- had activated his reset button. Minho was every bit as snarly as Chan hoped he could be. Occasionally he pushed the envelope, but they just kept reaffirming that he didn't have to force himself to do anything for them and he fell into a steadier rhythm.

Changbin and Seungmin had grown into a strange companionship. Like a cat and mouse, Seungmin kept chasing and Changbin kept slipping from his gripping hands. It was funny though, neither of them seemed to grow tired of playing the same silly games.

The pairs began to drift away as the credits rolled, until it was only Chan and Minho left.

"Well, what would you like to do tonight?"

Maybe he'd feel like dancing again. That would surely keep his thoughts about Chanyeol at bay. He knew that Minho could dance- Felix had shared that little tidbit a while before- but seeing it in real life was very different from hearing about it. It'd only happened once- when Minho had complained about not stretching in a long time and Hyunjin offered to teach him some new moves. The visual was seared into the very fiber of his being.

Minho shrugged against his front. "Can we go for a drive?"

Just the two of them? They'd only ever been on a ride with four at a time. It was dangerous to be out and about without at least two vampires, but especially now that Chanyeol had contacted him.

"Right now? After that spooky movie?"

The human gave him a bitter glance, furrowing his pretty brows. "I'm not scared. Are you?"

"Not at all, bunny."

He stretched, releasing a small chuckle. "Why am I a freaking rabbit? Hyunjin should be the damn rabbit. He's hornier than a camp counselor."

Chan slapped a hand over his mouth to keep in a bray of surprised laughter. As soon as he contained himself, he agreed to the idea. "Fine. A quick one though, no more than an hour. Go get on some thicker clothes and the big jacket. The one Felix bought you."

Minho gave him a little glare. "And you swear he bought it not knowing that it had cat ears on the hood?"

"I swear it."

Felix bought it because he thought it had rabbit ears on the hood.

They said some quick goodbyes- letting the others know where they'd be going. Chan squeezed Hyunjin's wrist a little, giving him a meaningful glance when he said- "Watch over things while we're out please."
