EH-HEH.

I realize now that I'm actually just procrastinating so that I don't have to finish this fic. 🤣 My bad ya'll. Writing silences everything bad about me (I pour it out into the ink of these pages and it stains something other than my mind). BUT. I'm just going to finish it and not stress. We can not stress together! Oh... except right now. Everyone should be very stressed for now. 😈😈😈😈😈✨✨✨✨ A little of Minho's thoughts in this one.
Believe it or not I luv youuuuuuu 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
At the shop, several very important and necessary things occurred.
The first was the way the humans branched off as soon as they got inside, forcing the vampires to split up as well, to ensure that everyone had someone else with them. It was panic-inducing at the start- they hadn't been anywhere all together since coming home from The Dark Hall.
Hyunjin followed Jisung as he darted towards the treadmills, Felix ran after Changbin who went right for the dumbbells, and Chan hurried behind Innie, looking over his shoulder to make sure Seungmin was going in Minho's direction. The young vampire squinted his eyes in annoyance, but he trailed behind the human willingly enough.
Of course, being so spread out in such an unfamiliar environment meant that Chan was immediately exhausted, his eyes and ears doing double the amount of work they would normally do, trying to keep track of everything and everyone.
His heart kept ramping- hearing a yell from Changbin only to realize he'd found the weighted bars- a little squeal from Jisung ended up being about the different colored mats, and he practically smoke-stepped over to Minho when he heard him gasp. But he was just impressed at the assortment of punching bags.
"Uh... is everything okay?" Innie asked, placing a gentle hand on his arm.
"Yeah. Sorry. Just, worried about being apart from everyone."
"You know that we've all been in stores by ourselves before, right? Even Minho?"
It seemed like something so normal for humans- but not for his. Even imagining Jisung or Innie alone in a convenience store buying soda or something was too much. Realizing that Changbin used to work NIGHTS at a pet store was even worse. But picturing Minho alone anywhere was stressful enough to get him searching the area for them all over again.
Jeongin grinned and shook his head, twisting a few gym shirts on the rack in front of them, trying to see their size.
"I'll buy you anything you want but they might have better colors on the brand's website." Chan muttered distractedly.
It was near closing time and there weren't very many other people there, which was actually good when the next thing happened.
"Hi there. Anything I can help you with?" A girl asked Changbin, her thin finger threaded around the end of her high ponytail. She wasn't being loud, but Chan picked up the sound since he was already looking so hard for one.
"Yeah, do you know if this comes with the weights? Or do you have to get them separately?"
"Hmm, let me check." With a confident press of her palm, she moved him out of the way and Chan watched Felix's eyes go red.
"Easy, 'Lix." he called discreetly, glad the girl couldn't spot them in the other aisle when she turned her head. Changbin raised an eyebrow and looked between the two, paying special attention to Felix when he bit his lip and stared at the ground.
