Seungmin was stressed over Jisung's kidnapping, but there was no better vampire relaxant then a warm, sleepy human.
Innie was in his arms, forehead pressed into his chest. They were watching a new show on the television- some kind of detective team- Seungmin hadn't really been paying attention. He was still angry that he'd missed the confrontation with Wrath. Again.
Both times he'd been in his coffin, and both times the human had attempted to murder his lover by sunlight. When they got their hands on him...
"Master?"
"Seungmin is fine Innie, please try and remember."
"I see... Seungmin?"
"Yes little fox?"
"Can I ask you something?"
"Always." He tilted his head, watching the human think it over.
"It's about... Minho."
That was curious. Maybe he'd finally get to the bottom of whatever was going on between them. They'd barely spoken to each other, so it was strange that they didn't get along.
"Go ahead."
"Well... he... ran from his coven?"
"That's right."
"And... he hurt Mast- uh... Chan."
"Yes."
"He hurt him a few times."
"He sure did." Seungmin smiled, remembering how out-of-depth they'd felt at the start. How little they really knew about donors.
"But you haven't punished him." Innie's expression was quite grave, almost sickened.
"No. Chan is in charge of punishment."
"He is too kind. An attack against the Master is... a high offense."
"Is that how it was with your old master?"
The human nodded, spreading his hands over Seungmin's chest. "Yes... uh... maybe you should do it. Punish him I mean. Just so he doesn't try to run again."
Even more curious. "What do you suggest?"
"You could snap one of his ankles."
Seungmin gently moved him back against the cushions of the small couch and got up to kneel in front of him.
"I want you to pay very close attention to what I say."
Innie leaned forward. "Yes Master."
"We do not hurt our donors. Not on purpose."
"But Master-"
"And we never will Innie. Not ever."
His eyes slit down for a moment, and Seungmin thought for the first time that the little human could be dangerous.
"You understand me, don't you?"
"Yes Master. I understand."

Jisung woke up in a cell with his hands and feet tied in front of him. The vampire he'd been sold to was sitting outside of it, holding a take-out bag of greasy food.
"Oh good. The man made me promise to feed you. Eat this. And don't say anything stupid like you're a vegan or something."
Jisung took the bag, scarfing down the sandwich and fries without even wondering if they were poisoned. He was pretty hungry. Chan had been so consistent with feedings that he'd forgotten the way starving felt.
