Katherine POV
"Hey katherine, we have arrived" said to me Sean to me from the driver's seat
I opened my eyes, and looked out the window
"Oh we have." I said
"Do you need a few more minutes?" sean asked
"Hmm" I looked down at the time on my phone. It was 7:52.
"Just 3 more minutes Sean"
"Alright i'll let neo and ken know" sean said and he pulled his phone out to inform them
I looked at the seat next to Sean and I noticed neo wasn't there but standing by the car door.
There was clearly a bit of favoritism when it comes to my bodyguards, I did prefer Sean over Neo. But that's because when Neo is around he strictly stays as my bodyguard, nothing more or less. Yet with Sean, we started to have a closer connection when he would ask me about my books I would read, to the point I would let him borrow them afterwards if he liked the summary I provided.
When we are out in the balcony he isn't so professional especially when it's just us two so in reality he's the only one i really have conversation with.
"Ken is walking over, he suggest you go in now Katherine not in 3 minutes" Sean said
Just as Sean said that Neo opened my door for me, I looked at him with a Straight face.
"Miss, it's time to go in," Neo said.
I nodded, and I grabbed my things.
As I exited the car did I see ken standing right in front of me
"MissTheerapanyakul"
"Yes?" I asked wondering if he would say something to me before going in
"You may enter your school now." Ken said in a monotone voice.
"Oh, okay" i said
I turned to see Sean who had walked up next to me.
"Nong Barcode, and Nong Macau are present, and they know to inform us also if your are in danger" Sean said in a professional tone, knowing that's what is most appropriate right now.
I nodded , and proceeded into the school.
Porchay Pov
"P'Kinns little sister starts today right mac?" I asked
"Hmmm yeah why?" he asked as we both walked to the direction of our classroom.
"Should we invite her to eat with us? She is in my class and is new" I asked hoping he would agree
"I guess chay, but if I can't get along with her I'm cutting ties here and now" Macau said sternly
"Mac.." i said with a frown, "let's just get to know her, shes probably really really nice" i said hopeful
"I guess, I'll see you later, chay, text me later" Macau said as we arrived at our destination.
I entered the class next to his.
As I sat down in my seat desk did a couple of my class friends approach me
"Did you hear we are getting a new student" said one friend
"And so close to the end of the school term" said the other.
"Yeah I did" I said to them not wanting to go into further detail on this situation, not until I met her.
A few minutes pass by and I still don't see Katherine entering the class just yet
As the clock strikes 8 am did the teacher walk in, still not sign of Katherine
"Okay class before we begin we will be introducing a new student in a bit. They will be here soon but for now please take out your notebooks" the teacher said
As my classmates and I did what we were told did the door to our classroom opened
I knew right away who it was. Katherine Theerapanyakul
There were whispers around me
'She's so pretty!"
"The transfer student is a girl?!'
'Do you think if I ask for her number she'll give it to me?'
All these whispers going on
"Everyone this is Katherine" the teacher said
"sawadee kai" said Katherine as she wai'ed to us
"I will have you sit next to your cousin Porchay, please ask him if you need help " the teacher smiled and gestured to me.
Katherine nodded, no emotion on her face, and made her way to me
Kinn is right, she does remind me of Kim .
One of my classmates who sat behind me got closer
"Chay you could have warned us your cousin is a cutie"
I turned and gave him a face
My classmate went back to his seat after Katherine got closer
As she sat down, she turned to me and gave me a small smile.
I returned the smile
"Oh um , we'll be writing notes today to help us prepare" I said to her once I remember what we are doing in class today
She nodded "thank you" she said in a whisper
She took her notebook out and started to take notes.
Not once did she ask for help or try to chat a bit between classes.
But it did seem like she had something on her mind I just didn't know what.
When lunchtime rolled around did I say something
"You can have lunch with Macau and I , Katherine" I said shyly
"Oh ummm sure porchay" she said
"Chay" I corrected her
"Excuse me" she said confused
"Call me chay" I said with a smile and she nodded
"Yo chay ready?" I turned to the voice, it was Macau
"Oh Katherine, this is Macau your cousin" I said introducing them.
Knowing Macau wouldn't say anything
"Nice to me you" she said
I elbowed Macau, he looked at me annoyed then turned to Katherine
"Yeah same" he said
I rolled my eyes
" Katherine is joining us" I said
Macau just nodded and the three of us headed to the cafeteria.
Once we arrived , we grabbed our food and found a seat
Katherine still seemed like something was on her mind as she ate her lunch silently
"Porchay I have a question" she said
"chay" I corrected her again,
"Oh right. Chay" she nodded
"Your question Katherine?" I asked
There was a small silence.
Katherine looked around seeing if anyone was listening then proceeded
"Why did the teacher call you my cousin?" She asked
Oh this is awkward
Katherine POV
I went straight to the office when I entered the school building; there i for my schedule and then someone would show me to my classroom.
I was nervous especially when all eyes were on me when I entered my class.
But even with all the nerves I couldn't stop thinking about why the teacher referred to Porchay as my cousin.
Yes our brothers are in a relationship but that doesn't mean we're related ...
Unless Korn made it seem like porchay and I are cousins. A way to keep my identity hidden.
As the class went by I didn't say anything at all. Just trying to let myself focus on my classes.
I knew I could ask Kinn the situation If I needed to, which is why I ignored the cousin situation
Once lunch rolled around, Chay invited me to lunch.
I accepted. Not like I could eat with anyone else.
When chay introduced me to Macau did I realize how awkward it might feel for the three of us.
Macau didn't seem like a mean person, not yet. He just found this whole situation awkward
And poor chay is just trying to make things go smoothly
As we sat to eat our lunch did I decide to ask chay about the cousin situation
"P'Kinn didn't tell you?" Macau asked astonished
"Tell me what?" I asked confused
"Ahhhh the teacher isn't wrong Katherine... we are cousins" chay said awkwardly
I just looked at him hoping he would say he was joking, but it never came. I turned to look at Macau, this cousin of mine www holding in his laughter
"What am I missing?" I asked putting my utensils down "our brothers are dating right? So is it just easier to refer to each other as cousins right ?" I asked hoping that was the answer
"Uhhh well you see Katherine, umm yes our brother are dating but Ahh how do I say this?? Hmm legally we are cousins?" Porchay answered
"What do you mean legally?" I asked
Chay rubbed the back of his neck
"You see, umm my mother is the adopted little sister of Macau dad and yours. So legally we are cousins just not blood related " Chay finally said
I sat there. Trying to take everything in:
Porchay sat there awkwardly and Macau? Well Macau finally busted out a laugh.
"Oh. Umm" I couldn't continue another word
But I can now confirm that being in this family gets weirder and weirder each day.
