Chapter 12

Katherine POV

I kept my promise to Kinn for the past two days, I would do what he asked of me, which was mostly, for now, eating my meals with at least one of them, or the presence of a trusted guard.

For the past three days Kinn has not been able to eat all three meals with me, so he would eat breakfast with me and takhun, and then lunch would be with tankhun. Dinners so far would be with an appointed guard if Tankhun was busy as well. He typically left Arm or Pol with me saying he didn't trust my new guards to watch me.

Meals with both brothers were typically very awkward, and not much talk if it was just two of us. Kinn would just ask I am and Tankhun simply would talk away about his dramas, or how he wants to go party with pete, and porsche again.

I saw Porsche last night since the last time I had spoken to him was when Korn grounded me. He let me know that I would be meeting his brother Porchay, and my cousin Macau soon. He said I would be going to school with them and how his brother would be in my class. I was nervous when he said that but overall it was nice having a small talk with him.

On the 3rd day during breakfast I asked Kinn about the cousin Porsch told me about.

"P'Kinn, What is Macau like?" I asked

"Oii why do you want to know about that damn brat?!" asked tankhun annoyed

"P'Khun" Kinn warned him, "He can be a handful but considering how things are I'm sure he has changed" Kinn said

"That brat will always be a brat. I don't know how poor, innocent nong chay can be friends with him" Tankhun huffed, still annoyed

"I'm confused here." I said , putting my fork down "So should I befriend him or shouldn't?" I asked both

"Should"

"Shouldn't"

They both said, and looked at each other.

Kinn sighed , and Tankhun rolled his eyes .

"Just explain to her Kinn" said Tankhun

"You see Katherine, our cousins Vegas and Macau used to be a part of the minor family. The main and minor family always went head to head so you can see why we may not have a good relationship. But since Porsche took over the minor family well you don't exactly have that rivalry like they do with the three of us" Kinn explained,

"You mentioned Vegas, is he another cousin of ours?"

"Yes, he is only a year younger than me, and the same age as Kim. Macau is about your age, and Venice is only a few months old"

"I have a little cousin too? I thought it was just P'Vegas and Macau?"

"Well since Venice is still a little baby, he doesn't exactly count in the rivalry we have had. Just like how you don't count either since you just joined the family"

"Ahhh makes sense, but P'Kinn it's still a possibility that we could, right? Have a rivalry I mean" I asked him

"Yes, but we hope not. You grew up differently than us so it might be that they treat you a lot nicer" Kinn answered.

"Don't worry Katherine, you let me know if they treat you badly and I'll command that traitor pete to show them a lesson!" Tankhun said

"Who's Pete?" I asked, confused.

"Venice other papa" Tankhun said while going back to eating his breakfast that he had stopped eating once this conversation had started.

"P Khun you're not helping!" said Kinn when he saw my face even more confused
