"You have no idea what to say, do you?" a voice called to her.

"Obi-Wan, I could have electrocuted myself!"

"Yep. No clue whatsoever."

"Yes I do! I know exactly what to say!"

"Then, pretend I'm Master Windu. Tell me what you would tell him," he suggested. Ahsoka Forced the door closed. She opened her mouth to speak and dropped her head.

"I have absolutely no idea what to tell him!"

"What about the truth?"

"Tried that. I spiraled into a really bad panic spell."

"Why?"

"Because it's Master Windu! You don't just upset him and think you'll be safe!"

"But, aren't you the Grand Master?"

"Yes, but...he's a High Jedi Master. He's more powerful than Anakin, and that's saying something because Anakin's basically made of the Force."

"But, if I'm recalling correctly, the Daughter transferred her Life Force to save yours. You are the physical Light Side."

"Ashla and Bogan. And in the middle, the Bendu. I know the legends."

"So stop being the Bendu. You are the Light Side of the Force. Bring peace, little one."

"Thank you, Master," she hugged him, strangely happy to be held by him. She felt herself purring, but she didn't care. She felt warm, with her family again.

"Ni kar'tayl gar darasuum, Ahsoka," he said in Mando'a. "Gar gotal'ur ni proud, ad'ika." Ahsoka's eyes gleamed silver.

"Thank you, Master. That's weird. Me being the Grand Master and still calling you 'master'."

"Don't question it," he said, leaving the embrace. "Just be you."

"Maybe I should replace Sage for you," she joked.

"No you shouldn't!" she piped up from somewhere on the ship.

"She's right. Thanks for the talk, Obi-Wan. Anakin, I need you! It's a droid thing!"

"Coming, Snips!" he called. Ahsoka heaved a sigh of relief, shivering quietly.

"Do you think he'll like it, R2?" R2 beeped, going on a spiel about something.

"Sheesh, I get it." The shivering turned to shaking. R2 said something to Ahsoka.

"No, I'm fine. You don't have to do that," she lied. "I'm just tired, I need a break," she insisted, moving from the chair to the floor. She drew her knees in, resting her head between them. Anakin knocked on the door.

"Come in," she said weakly.

"The in-house droid master has arrived and...where are you?" he asked, looking around. R2 beeped something at him, rocking back and forth.

"Between the cabinet and the-Ahsoka sweetie, are you alright?"

"I'm fine," she said, peeking out. Anakin heard the uncertainty in her voice.

"No, you're not, baby girl. What's wrong?" he asked, moving the cabinet with the Force.

"Nothing's wrong, per say." She hissed silently as he approached.

"You called me. I'm here for you. What's wrong?" he asked again, closing the door. She didn't respond. Ahsoka sat in his lap, leaning into him. Even with his warmth, she felt cold and alone.

"Not as warm as a clone black, but it will do for now," she whispered to herself.

"What the kriff are you talking about?" Anakin asked.

"Nothing," she hissed in surprise. "Nothing, Anakin."

"No big speech or sobbing fit?" he asked, stroking her lekku.

"I..." she started. "Have no idea what to say. To you or Mace."

"You never call him by his first name. What changed?"

"His position," she said.

"What?" Anakin asked.

"What?" Ahsoka asked right after him. "Sorry, I shouldn't have to drag you into this. Or Obi-Wan or Caleb."

"We want to be there for you in any way we can, baby girl."

"I'm 17, Anakin."

"You never told me it was your birthday!" Anakin said, faking being offended.

"It was the day after my Recruitment Day. I never really pay any attention to it or anything. It's embarrassing for me," she admitted, blushing.

"I won't pry for the reason. No wonder you were so distant that day."

"Thank you, buir," she said in Mando'a.

"I'm not a Mando'a expert," Anakin chuckled.

"It means father. I'm glad I get to do the father-daughter dance with you," she said, leaning back into his chest. She raised her hand, but quickly shot it back down. "Nevermind," she whispered to herself. "He wouldn't get it, no one would." They sat together in silence, enjoying each other's company.

"Thank you, Master," Ahsoka sighed, getting up. "I think I know what I'm going to ask Tech for," she mumbled. "You can go, if you want. I'm fine now."

"Okay, but if you need me, just call for me, baby girl." She hugged him again, purring greatly. She felt him fidget a bit.

"Soka, I really have to-"

"Go," she said, bumping him out of the room. "Love you!" she called, closing the door. Ahsoka sat back down, fiddling with the droid parts.

"Okay, Artooie. Here you go. Don't break it again," she warned, attaching his arm.

"Ahsoka, you're needed in the cockpit!" Caleb called.

"Coming, love!" She gave R2 a pat and ran to the cockpit. "What is it?"

"Just a routine check. What's the next jump point so I can plug it in?" Caleb asked.

"R2!" she called into the ship. "R2's the real pilot. He's on his way." She kissed his cheek and went to the common room.

"The new missus finally joins us," Rex said.

"Stop, vod'! I'm already blushing hard enough," she said, hiding in her robe hood.

"Stop embarrassing the poor girl, Rex," Hunter said, offering her his seat. She nodded her thanks, but stayed standing.

"We were just talking about you. The night the Chancellor came over," Padme said.

"I'll never forget," she said, setting her leg on the table and unbuckling her boot. The nasty scar still remained on her leg as a reminder of what happened.

"Dank Ferriak!" Hunter said. "Was it that bad?" he asked.

"There were terrible blisters all over. It was a doozy. I needed a brace for a week. Then, one day, I didn't. I still don't know what happened."

"The Force works in mysterious ways," Obi-Wan said, sipping a martini.

"So all of y'all get big kid juice and I'm stuck drinking grape soda? I'm 17!"

"I guess," Anakin said apologetically.

"Technically, Rex and Hunter look like adults, but they're younger than me!" Ahsoka said.

"Thanks, vod'," Hunter grumbled angrily.

"You're welcome," she said, ruffling his hair.

"What is it with you and hair?" he asked, fixing his bandana.

"I don't have any," she said simply.

"Neither do I, but you don't see me messing up anyone's hair!" Rex called after her.

"You're too nice," she said, fixing his shirt. "Learn some sarcasm and don't be afraid to use it," she said, flicking his nose. "I'll be in the workshop if I'm needed," she said, closing the door.
