Anakin went straight to the clone barracks. He found them playing Dejarik, betting on the matches.

"Who's winning?" Anakin asked Tech.

"Rex has won 96.4% of the matches so far."

"Even against you?"

"I'm not allowed to play, I'm too smart. I keep score."

"How much is the bet?"

"20 creds a round. If you wanna play, you're after Hunter, Appo, Echo, Denal, and Fives on the waitlist."

"Is Obi-Wan here?"

"He went to the cellar just before you arrived. He should be back...now."

"He's still out in the hallway," Anakin said with confidence.

"Anakin, help me with this crate!" he called from the hallway.

"My calculations were...wrong?"

"Math is good, but the Force is better," Anakin said. "Wrecker, help General Kenobi with the drink crate."

"It's bad enough I had to drag it up here," he panted. "You don't even help me yourself?"

"I...It's almost my turn. I don't wanna lose my spot."

"Can't you just use the Force or something?" he asked, carrying the large crate with Wrecker.

"Well, you're already doing such a good job. We can open it here."

"You're hiding something. I know you too well," Obi-Wan said.

"I'm not hiding anything, Master. You know me well enough to know that."

"I'm not falling for it this time."

"Fine. Everytime I use the Force, this happens." Anakin lightly pushed a bottle away. It went through the wall, crashing into the one behind it.

"When did that happen?"

"After the Mortis Gods in the Senate debacle," Anakin confessed.

"You need to get this under control."

"I know, I know! I'm more connected to the Force than ever and I can move things effortlessly. Like," he concentrated for a moment. Obi-Wan was lifted off the ground, floating in the air.

"Put me down!" Obi-Wan ordered. Anakin floated a cot over, dropping Obi-Wan onto it.

"And the fact that I can literally hear Ahsoka's heartbeat all the way down here!" Anakin put a fist to his forehead. "What do I do, Master?"

"Seems like a question to ask Ahsoka."

"She's asleep, Master. Weren't you there?"

"If you can feel her that well, you should know if she's asleep or not. She is your daughter."

"Tech, save my spot!" Anakin said, running out of the room.

"You hear that?" he asked.

"Anakin's coming! Hide!" Ahsoka pushed him off of her, covering them both in the blankets. She shivered in nervousness.

"Ahsoka?" Anakin asked quietly. She was shivering. "It's alright, baby girl." he pulled up a chair and stroked her lekku. She was in a cold sweat, pretending to be asleep.

"You look hot. Here, I'll take this blanket for you." Ahsoka's eyes flashed open.

"No, you won't!" she cried, holding it close to her body. "Please don't!" she begged, breathing heavily. Something stirred behind her as she covered her front desperately.
