"I love you, Angel," Anakin whispered into her hair.

"I love you too, farmboy," she whispered back.

"Oh Force. Can't we have one hour together? One?" Anakin complained, getting up from the bed.

"What are you talking about, Ani?"

"I feel Ahsoka coming," he said, snatching his tunic from the floor. Someone knocked on the door.

"Anakin?" Ahsoka's voice asked.

"Give me a sec!" he called back. "I have to go, sorry."

"Don't be," Padme said. Anakin pecked her cheek and slipped out the door.

"We need to talk," she said sinisterly. Anakin nodded, growing serious.

"What is it, Soka?" Caleb asked.

"Ever since the Mortis thing, Anakin and my Force sensitivity has doubled. We've been deeply rooted in the Force. But, there's something I need to test out before I make any conclusions," Ahsoka explained. "Caleb, did the cleaners ever come by?"

"Yea, they did."

"Good. Let's go," she said, storming the group down the hall. She locked the door once everyone was inside.

"What are you getting at, Snips?" Anakin asked.

"Everyone has to promise that this is purely scientific research and will not get weirder out by what I'm about to say." Everyone promised.

"What exactly are we doing?" Caleb asked.

"Everyone touch Anakin's shoulder," she sighed. The silence was loud and awkward. "Trust me, guys. Just do it!" She ordered again. Obi-Wan followed her orders awkwardly, Caleb did too eventually.

"Nothing's happening," Anakin muttered.

"Now do it to me," she said. Everyone put their hands on Ahsoka's shoulder. Ahsoka's eyes glowed white and she began to rise in the air. Everyone let go and Anakin grabbed her foot before her montrals stabbed the ceiling. Ahsoka's eyes stopped as Anakin set her down.

"Okay, so it's only me. And the people touching me don't have to be Force-sensitive. I think I've got it!"

"Mind explaining what just happened?" Obi-Wan asked.

"I have a theory. Family is an extension of positive emotions. These emotions can trigger the Force. The Daughter and I are one now, so the family emotions are causing her to rise within me. The reason it doesn't happen to Anakin is because of the Daughter. She merged with me, so her powers are surfacing in me. I can't explain Anakin's new Force connection, but...I feel like you guys aren't following."

"Uh...we are, but uh..." Caleb started.

"We have no idea what you're talking about," Anakin admitted.

"Not a clue," Obi-Wan finished.

"I'm better off explaining this to the clones. They'll actually try to listen," Ahsoka said, storming out.

"Ahsoka, wait!" Caleb called after her.

"She just needs her space, Caleb. She did this all the time in the Temple. She'll bounce back," Anakin said, leaving the room. "Wanna grab a drink?"

"Sure," Obi-Wan said.

"Sheesh. Y'all just leaving me like that," Caleb said, flopping on the bed. "Hmm," a thought crossed his mind.

"Ahsoka? Where are Trace and Rafa?" Padme asked.

"They're in the Mess Hall. I just need a break from the guys," Ahsoka sighed.
