She ran to her room, locking the door behind her. She barricaded the door with a box, not letting anyone in. She flopped onto her bed, crying and sobbing. Ugly hissing echoed in the small room. She clutched her knees, burying herself under the blankets. In a blind fit of rage, Ahsoka stood up. She grabbed her lightsaber and ignited it.

"Oh no!" Anakin said, running to her room. "Ahsoka, no! Don't do this, please!" he begged from outside.

"You all wanted me dead! Why not do it myself?" she asked, holding the saber to her chest. Anakin took out his saber and slashed the lock. The door flushed open.

"Ahsoka, please! Don't do this!" he begged. "It's not worth it! It may seem like a good idea, but it's not! You need to calm down, you're letting your anger control you," Anakin said, tears dripping down his face. She lowered the lightsaber for a second out of fear, but her anger was stronger and she inched it closer to her chest.

"Get back!" she snarled.

"Ahsoka, please! Let me help you," he pleaded once more.

"Get back!" she shrieked. "You'll never understand why I have to do this!" she snarled.

"Yes I will!" he said, pulling his tunic off. A nasty scar sat in the middle of his chest. "I thought that... that this was the only way to save everyone. It's not right, Ahsoka! Let me help you through this, please!" he begged, stretching out his hand. Her pupils widened slightly, still in their slit formation.

"Come here, baby girl. Come here," he begged, reinforcing his hand. "I can help you, Ahsoka. Come to me, please." Ahsoka's pupils returned to normal. She looked from Anakin to the lightsaber, realizing what she was about to do. She flung the saber away, dropping to the floor.

"Ahsoka!" he caught her in his arms. "Thank you, baby girl," he whispered, still crying. He sat up better, pulling her into his lap. "It's alright, baby girl. I'm here for you, Soka," he repeated under his breath. Ahsoka was shaking violently and hyperventilating. Every time Anakin reached out to stroke her lekku, she swatted him away. He continued trying anyway.

"Y-Y-You s-s-still c-care about m-me?" she whimpered.

"Yes, baby girl. I'll never stop caring about you. Not even when I die," he said, reaching to stroke her lekku. She swatted his hand away again, snarling softly.

"Y-Y-You l-love me," she said, feeling his thoughts.

"Yes, Ahsoka. Nothing will ever change that, sweetheart."

Ahsoka cautiously accepted Anakin again. She felt so cold and alone, trapped in a hole. But, Anakin was there. He was always there for her, no matter what. Ahsoka fully accepted Anakin, melting into his lap as she grew warm again. A soft sigh escaped as she warmed her head on his chest. They both blushed lightly, chuckling it off.

"Do you want to tell me what happened?" he asked softly, hoping not to startle her.

"I think I have a few people to talk to first. Are we still on Padme's ship?"

"Yeah. You were going to the cockpit to take us out of orbit, but then..."

"Oh. We're still in orbit?"

"We saved the job for you. Everyone's worried sick about you," Anakin glanced over his shoulder, seeing Padme and Sage slip out of view.

"I just need a little time to think," she said, handing him her sabers. Anakin nodded and got up to leave.

"Do you want some company? I can get Padme or Trace and Rafa."

"My vod'ikas. All four," she said, holding tears back.
