Chapter Cover: Eve waving toward you with a large grin upon her face, "Thanks for the continued support."

I came to a feeling of warmth around my left side. It was swirling around my stomach, and I can feel the foreign magic that was swirling at where a throbbing feeling was pulsing, something I realized later was pain from where the man from before had stabbed me with that attack of his. I opened my eyes and found myself looking at the night sky above me for a few moments and then my eyes were drawn toward the small blue haired girl that was kneeled beside my form.

"W…Wendy?" I gasped.

She turned her eyes toward me with a smile upon her face.

"You've regained consciousness," she said, "I'm glad…just hang on Eve. I'll heal you as best as I can."

I nodded at her before something else occurred to me.

"Wait…Wendy you're back to normal?" I asked.

"We all are," Carla spoke from my other side drawing my eyes toward the Exceed, "That was some despicable magic to turn us against each other…"

"That it was," I told her, "Where are the others?"

At my words the ground shook as a massive explosion thundered from somewhere far away from where I was lying down on. I inclined my head in the direction it came from and I could see the tall tower of flames as well as Ice in my field of visions as well as everyone who were moving about through the area.

"They're kicking butt that's what," Happy laughed.

"That guy who was here," Carla said, "Whoever he was, he ran off when he saw that the spell that was placed on us was not there anymore and he had the Scepter."

Wincing, I seated up causing Wendy to gasp lightly.

"Eve you shouldn't be moving yet…?"

"We have to get the Scepter back," I said huffing lightly, "As well as Elizabeth."

"But your wound…?" Wendy said.

"We'll take care of it later," I told the small girl as I stood back up upon my feet, holding the side of my stomach, glancing down toward it. The wound wasn't as bad as I first thought, but it could also be because of Wendy's healing magic that she had placed upon me and had helped it heal much quicker but it was still tender from the throb of pain that was coming from it. I glanced forward looking at the battle that was taking place right across me.

They were numerous members of the Brotherhood lying down defeated. Some of them looked like they have been burned from the burn mark on their clothing as well as others who were caught in ice. They were others who were just down meaning that Erza was the one who took them down. Sensing the area around me for the magic of the Scepter, it didn't take me long to find where it was coming from.

Turning my head at the direction it came from I found myself looking up toward the opposite direction from the battle that was happening from behind me. Narrowing my eyes, I summoned out my wings as magic power surged around me.

"There you are," I said.

"I'll come with you," Wendy said drawing my eyes toward her, "You're still injured, so I will come and help you however I can."

I looked at the girl noticing that look upon her face. It was a similar look that she had on when she battled against Chelia in the Tournament a few days back now. It's strange seeing such an expression on a girl that is only twelve years old. Letting out a chuckle, I turned to face forward.

"Alright," I said, "I don't think I have ever worked with you before Wendy."

The blue haired girl had an happy look upon her features since I have agreed and she nodded.
