Chapter Cover: Eve back facing hundred of soldiers in front of her as golden feathers dancing around her body...

The meal went fine as I chewed on the new dishes that Alvarez had to offer. It was quite different than what I was used to in Fiore but all in all, the food was delicious. Not something I would expect from a town that was supposedly the den of outlaws. I could also sense the feather I had placed upon the young woman and it seems that she was still inside of the building alongside us. She hadn't left yet meaning that she was either smart enough to realize who Nyssa was.

"The contact that Invel mentioned," I asked, glancing toward Nyssa, "Where are we supposed to meet with him?"

"Not too far from here," Nyssa answered, "We arrived her a little earlier than when we were supposed to meet him so we've got time for a small diner."

I nodded taking a sip from my drinks.

"These two guys haven't stopped looking at us since we stepped in here," Nyssa said, her voice lowered than before as she leaned back against her chair.

"The ones at the end of the room on our left?" I asked her focusing upon my food.

She let out an agreeing grunt.

"They're not wizard from what I can sense," I told her, "Probably common thieves."

"That may be true," Nyssa answered, "But don't lower your guards. If there is a Rebellion going on they would have access to a lot of people, even these types."

I smiled.

"Just because I don't acknowledge them doesn't mean that I lower my guard Nyssa," I told her, "Speaking of the rebellion, that waitress is still in the building too. She went into the backroom from what I can tell and hadn't come out of it since."

"Communication lacrima?" Nyssa guessed.

"I would think so as well," I told her, "If they know of you, then they will be aware that the Empire knows of their doings here, and whatever they have planned will be accelerated."

Nyssa glanced at me, a light frown appearing upon her face.

"You used us as baits?"

I looked at her, giving her an empty smile.

"More like a warning," I told her, "C'mon, let's go and meet our guy and learn exactly what is going on here in this place."

We left the table and I decided to leave behind a few coins on the table for the service and we made our way outside of the building. The streets were deserted compared to how it was before and I couldn't help the small grin that I had upon my face at that. The Rebellion was definitely aware of our presence here in the city thanks to our waitress. Now that they know we are here, they will either try to leave the city or decide to attack us but considering the rumors that were about this town and the people that were aware of Nyssa, I don't think they will fall back.

But that was a gamble that I am willing to play.

As we were approaching our horses, the door of the building opened again drawing my eyes toward them. it was the same guys who had been staring at us from when we were inside of the establishment. They were kind of strong looking with weapons upon their forms as they approached toward us.
