Watching wrestling with the brothers in the rafters was unexpectedly fun. Leo and raph debated on if ghostbear was deserving of the champion title, wrestling amongst themselves.
Raph tossed leo jokingly, not expecting him to accidentally backflip over the edge of the platform and plummeting into the arena. "Avenge meeeeeee!" Leo called, landing on the professional wrestler and creating a gigantic hole in the floor as the announcer grabbed his hand and pulled him up.
Confused for a moment, she declared leo the new champion and cameras flashed. I silently bit my cheek as I watched, confused as to what was happening. Leo was dragged off backstage and we went to follow.
In the dressing room labeled 'primetime' we found leo, adorned in a fancy robe and champion belt enjoying the luxuries of his newfound title. "Leo?" I qued, walking in. "Hey y/n~ and.. brothers." Donnie and mikey had a rivalry for who was the hype man while raph and I approached.
"Leo, you're not a real champion." Raph bickered and the two began to go back and forth. "I totally am, y/n hey how do you feel about being my personal cheerleader." Leo offered.
My face warmed at the idea of having to wear a cheerleading uniform, but I accepted the offer. As raph continues to defend ghostbear, mikey dug around and tossed me a cheerleading outfit he found.
I went into the changing room and began changing into the outfit. It surprisingly fit well, and it was flattering without being too revealing. I heard the door to Leo's room open and I exited the changing room to find out what was going on.
"Primetime, your first challenger is up, time to go." The announcer stated. "Alright, let me get my hype men and cheerleader." He smiled, whistling for us three.
Walking out onto the arena area underneath all the lights as people cheered and cameras flashed was almost otherworldly. Adrenaline coursed through my veins as the crowd went wild.
Leo appeared to be soaking up the attention, posing for the cameras like a model. The brothers approached the ring, and I lingered near the sides. This was about to get interesting.
Leo's match began, and after a few cheers I came up with id noticed him giving me a wink each time I offered him encouragement, before slamming his opponent.
"How do you manage to fight so well?" A reporter asked as leo was on his break. "Easy." The turtle said. "Just get a good cheerleader and you can beat anybody~" he swung an arm around me and pulled me into him almost like we were a couple, and cameras flashed so rapidly I was almost blinded.
Hooo boy, my moms were sure to hear about this.
Like nothing, break was over and leo was back to brawling. I kept up spirits and cheered on with the help of donnie and mikey, until a familiar hulking figure entered the ring.
Raph was challenging leo, and the brothers tangled in a match. Everyone watched anxiously, before a surprise guest made his appearance.
It was ghostbear.
Raphs eyes sparkled as he cheered his idol on, but as ghostbear continued to try and pulverize leo, his adoration faded over worry for his brother. When the ex champion revealed he was a sham, raphs disappointment prompted him into fighting against ghostbear as well.
Before the two could get their heads knocked together, I dropped my pompoms and climbed up, forcing my body against the ropes. "Hey, big guy!" I snapped, his head whipped around to see me.
"This isn't your match." I snarked, releasing my grip and hurtling into the bulky wrestler. It did basically nothing, and he picked me up by the back of my shirt as if only holding a kitten.
"You, cheerleader. You stay out of it. Soon enough you will cheer for a real wrestler." He sassed, unprepared for the brothers readying a combo attack.
"Hey ugly, hands off my cheerleader!" Leo was sent flying by raph, and the brute dropped me. Soon enough the brute himself dropped from the attack, and I was caught by a familiar red eared slider.
"You alright?" Leo asked. I nodded. "Nice save." I laughed. "Nice distraction, couldn't have done it without you." For a moment it was just us standing under the lights, cameras flashing and people cheering.
I heard the crowd began to chant 'kiss! Kiss! Kiss!' And my eyes met Leo's. We stared at each other, before I silently nodded. His hand came up to cup my cheek and he leaned closer as my arm held his, before something slammed into him.
The announcer.
She declared herself champion for defeating leo, who was surprisingly cool about losing his recently earned title, and when we were out of sight of the cameras and people, a familiar three fingered hand grabbed my shoulder and gently spun me to look at him.
"So... about what happened in the ring.." leo trailed off. For once the suave turtle was nervous, stumbling over his words.
Without saying a thing, I put my hand on the back of his head and pulled him to me, placing a soft kiss on his lips and pulling away after a long moment. "So how about.. a date this weekend... at hueso's?" Leo choked out. I nodded with a grin.
"Absolutely, leo."
The moment is interrupted by his brothers cheering and clapping like they were watching the olympics, leos face reddening about as much as raphs mask.
"Why were you three watching?!"
