Initially I was very, VERY hesitant when leo asked me to go tubing with him and his brothers. Not because I didn't like tubing, but because it would take place in the new york sewers. The sewers were okay, but I heard.... questionable things about the water.
Donnie reassured me that the chanel they tubed in was the cleanest, connected to a water purification plant of some sort. The worst that could be in there was dirty rainwater, he said.
So I braved it and found an inner tube, pulling my swimsuit from its place in my drawer. I put my swimsuit on under a t shirt and set off to meet up with the brothers. Fluffy rested on my shoulder.
They extended an invitation to april, but the poor gal was babysitting for some family.
I was at the meet up spot, and I took off the t shirt to reveal my swimsuit. Upon hearing panicked murmurs, I saw raph worriedly looking for his brothers.
"Hey raph." I sauntered over. "Whats up?" He breathed a sigh of relief, seemingly uncomfortable with being left alone without his brothers. "Hey, have you heard from leo or the others?" He asked.
"No, but my guess is They're on their way." I patted his shell, carefully avoiding his spikes. "I'll wait with ya."
In a minute the other three turtles had arrived, each dressed for the day of doing nothing but essentially floating in a big circle. "Hey leo." I was smug at Leo's flustered reaction to seeing my swimsuit, poor boy was as red as his stripes. Fluffy sat on my head, purring.
Raph somehow got his hands on a giant tire for a tube, and with everyone's tubes in the water, we took off. Leo insisted on tubing exactly next to me, so he lay on his tube with his legs on top of mine.
Soon enough the boys were playing with a football called 'laceface', passing it with some rather impressive moves might I add. Eventually donnie kicked it off kilter, sending it to the side. It landed somewhat close to me so I grabbed it, preparing to toss it to raph by standing on my tube.
The water rocked me too hard, and I fell in. The ball fell from my grasp and raph went to grab it, but we both ended up going down the wrong pipe. I was pulled up onto raph's tire tube to not be lost to the sewers as we hurtled downwards. Between pillars I could see the others. Fluffy expressed its fear with hissing screeches from Leo's arms.
"Our ball! I mean, our friends!" Mikey yelled. "Ohr ball?!" Leo scoffed "my girlfriend!" Both paths led into separate pipes, raph and I clinging onto eachother as we fell into the darkness.

"We have to find them, you know how savage raph gets when hes alone." Leo started. "We could lose them both if we're not fast, clocks ticking."
-back with you-
Raph managed to grab a hold so that we wouldn't go falling farther, he had my hand while I held the ball and his tire. His grip on me was slipping. "Okay we just gotta get up-" my hand slipped from his and I heard him shout after me and the falling items.
I felt weightless for a moment, clutching onto the ball and clambering into the gigantic tire, hoping it could soften whatever impact I may take. I shut my eyes and hoped that these weren't my final moments, before the water below rushed to greet my falling form.

"My emotional crutches..." raph sighed, anxious and now alone. The poor snapping turtle began to panic, hearing groans that sounded like his brothers, he was convinced be was already loosing it.
"Hey ben look, its that red guy."
"Ohoho hes one of those turtle jerks that we hate for.. yknow reasons I cant remember. Lets eat him!"
"Ugh do you know how much trouble turtle is to eat? You gotta crack the shell, you gotta drain the goo, you gotta scoop out the eyeballs so it cant see you eatin 'em. Plus, it's not even that much meat. Ugh.. no thanks. Hard pass."
"Okay what if I told you theres a shortcut. I heard if you scare them, they just pop right outta their shell."
"And they just like what, jump into ya belly?"
"Yes! Well uh full disclosure I don't know, but lets find out!"
-with the others again-
Leo sported a nasty bump on his head and a missing tooth, whilst donnie sipped a pina colada. "Where did you get that?" Leo asked. "Todays vibes were supposed to be chill, so I filled my battle shell with some refreshment."
"Just one, donald?!" Mikey groaned, head bandaged. "And ice, im not an animal." "Then give us ice for our horribly mangled bodies." Leo snapped.
Donnies battle shell made a strange noise.
"It melted.." he admitted, sipping on his drink. "Guys I think something horrible happened here!" Mikey pointed at all the dents raph had left in his panic.
Fluffy began to sniff at the scent and track down raph while the others followed the silverfish.

I plummeted into water, before surfacing and coughing a few times. I looked to be in the canal of some kind of city. Was this some part of the hidden city?
I clung to the tire as I floated down stream, observed by yokai. "Well well well, look at the poor little human." A feminine voice piped up. "You're so lucky I was passing by." A gigantic claw scooped me from the river.
"Its okay, you're safe with mama~"
-the others-
Poor raph was getting attacked by 'sewer monsters' and went primal, fighting with a sort of unhinged, savage strength.
"Savage raph hunt sewer monsters!"
A ways behind, the others found evidence of raph. The bridge collapsed beneath them, and they fell into a pit of mud. "Guys, we found him!" Leo announced.
All three turtles were caked in mud, and went to approach raph who sat by a fire. They saw raph seasoning the crab mutants from before with lemon, and went to get hum.
"Are you barbecuing villains?" Leo asked. Raph growled. "More.. sewer monsters?" Raph began to fight his brothers. Mikey managed to get raph to hit a flood valve and wash the sludge off, and they all breathed a sigh of relief.
Leo managed to get raphs attention with laceface, and they began the 'midnight special'. With raph back to his senses, the brothers cheered.
"So raph, where's y/n?" Leo asked. "Where.. I thought she was with you?!" Raph exclaimed. Throughout the sewer systems, Leo's unholy screech could be heard. "My girlfriend!!!!!!!"
