Klonoa hears a voice from the mist

???: That isn't smart of you Klonoa.

Klonoa turning around: Enough games!

???: I see. You are just as aggressive this time around. How many times do you think you get to start over?

Klonoa is slightly confused. He sees an human with the same voice as the being who brought him here.

???: I can see your confusion. Not quite the ELDRITCH abomination you expected.

Klonoa: Nothing is as it seems. You spared no expense to carve that lesson into me. I don't care about what you have to say. Show me your true form.

Translator: You ask it as if I haven't. You have never heard So'omy's voice. You wouldn't understand. That is my role. I am the translator. I am the one who takes its alien motives and will and create it in a way that mortals can understand it. I am the one in charge of this world while So'omy is the existence of the mist. I was the one who guided those monsters and their actions. I made them cruel and scheming. Think of it as me training hounds so it can use them for fox hunts. In a way So'omy is a bystander.

Klonoa: All this is just a fox hunt to you?! These are living people! If it wasn't for you the friends I made along the way would still be alive! Like Hell would I believe that IT is innocent. He is trying to eat my being!

???: I don't recommend getting upset. After all you are a hypocrite. Do you not eat meat? It comes from an animal with its own goals and desires. Who are you to deem your importance higher than theirs? The smartest animal conpared to the dumbest person, who is worth more? There is a Cristian saying, "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone". You have no right nor knowledge to apply your logic.

Klonoa: I'm tired of this!

Klona charges and stabs the translater of So'omy. He refuses to be become a puppet because of mind games. He wanted to be free from this place. It was a mistake.

???: Your choices doesn't matter now... You won't have me to make sense or logic about what you shall face. You sealed your fate. I truly pity you this time.

Klonoa is shocked. It felt like he was compelled to kill him. That isn't what he... Klonoa the Dream Traver would do. He isn't a killer. Klonoa suddenly feel the world around him begin to lose meaning and shape. The world's logic starts to fade. Klonoa feels an overwhelming presence. He has to use all his willpower not to scream or wet his worn pants. Klonoa watches a vaguely humanoid monster with it's two arms outstretched in a mockingly inviting manner. Its face is a circular jaw and its hair is a mix of writhing tentacles and arms. It has several bladed tendril tails.

So'omy:

Klonoa can't move. His legs are shaking.

So'omy:

Klonoa: -!!!

Klonoa can't even form words in front of this being. Klonoa realizes that the translator was right to make the comparison of animals to a hunter though that was still an over simplification. This being was beyond him and even though it is "almost lethality wounded" what does that matter when he is a fish in a barrel?
