THE WOODS ECHOED WITH THE ANGUISHED cries of the animals as they sensed the approach of an unknown entity. The sound of racing footsteps grew louder and louder, until suddenly, two figures plummeted from the trees and landed gracefully on their feet. The birds chirped frantically, their wings flapping in a frenzy as the two women turned their scarlet red eyes towards us.

Their dark skin was stretched taut over their long, lithe bodies, their wild hair cascading around them like a cloak of shadows. Clad only in animal skins, they exuded a primal energy that was both terrifying and alluring. The woman on the right stood tall and proud, her black hair tied back in a wild mane that bloomed like a lion's mane. The other woman was even taller, her long black hair woven into intricate braids that cascaded down her back. Her limbs were impossibly long, her fingers slender and graceful, and her features strong and striking.

As I gazed upon them, a shiver ran down my spine. These were not mere mortals, but something far more powerful and dangerous. Even the vampires and wolves would cower in their presence, for they were creatures of the wild, untamed and untamable. And as they stood before us, their eyes blazing with an otherworldly fire, I knew that we were in the presence of something truly extraordinary.

"Who are you?" Bella asked.

"I'm Zafrina," the tall woman introduced herself, her voice deep. She turned her head to the other woman and her right hand gestured to her. "And this is my sister, Senna."

The other woman, Senna, bowed her head.

"We've heard about the Volturi," Zafrina continued. "They're going against Carlisle about the child."

"Zafrina and Senna!" I heard Carlisle from behind and I turned around to see him, walking to them. "But where's Kachiri? I've never seen you three apart."

"Alice told us we needed to separate," Zafrina answered. "It's uncomfortable to be away from each other, but Alice assured us that you needed us here, while she very much needed Kachiri somewhere else. That's all she would tell us, except that there was a great hurry... ?"

As her words drifted away, they lingered in the air like a curious question mark. Bella's fingers were tightly intertwined with Renesmee's, while Edward and Jacob followed closely behind. Our eyes were fixed on the little girl as she reached out to touch Zafrina's face, a smile spreading across her cherubic features. At that moment, Renesmee shared her memories with the towering woman, and we all watched in awe. As she turned to glance at Senna, it was as if the world stood still, captivated by the magic unfolding before us.

"She's not immortal," she said to her sister and Senna's face focused on the child.

As I watched the other vampires fawn over Renesmee, I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. Their movements were swift and jerky, like a predator stalking its prey. Senna and Zafrina were always together, like two limbs of the same organism, with Zafrina acting as the mouthpiece. Kebi, on the other hand, seemed obedient, following Amun's every command.

But my thoughts soon turned to Alice and Jasper. Bella had told me that they had left the coven without a word, leaving behind only a note. Alice's ability to see the future made me wonder what she had seen that had caused them to leave.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding Alice's departure, Bella seemed oddly comforted by the news. It was as if she was on her own forbidden quest, avoiding the Volturi's plans for the Cullens. As I watched the others interact with Renesmee, I couldn't help but wonder what other secrets lay hidden beneath the surface.

I leaned in close to Joseph, my voice barely above a whisper. "Do any of them possess extraordinary abilities?"

"Zafrina does," Joseph replied, his tone hushed. "And let me tell you, it's quite the offensive power."
