Chapter 205 - Armor and Lust

Natsu was laughing lightly as he was holding the small little creature upon his lap as he was trembling lightly in his palm, probably still scared from how Erza had just attacked it earlier. I couldn't help myself from letting out a soft aww as I was staring at the small little ball of fur that I was crouching in front of.

"Natsu…this little guy is adorable," I said smiling.

Gray let out a sigh.

"And here I was thinking that he ate the egg," he said, staring at the creature, "So…you going to do anything about that ugly fur ball?"

"Gray, stop it," I told the young man with a frown, "How can you not see how cute this little thing is."

I raised a hand to touch the small creature but he simply buried itself into Natsu's clothing almost like he was afraid of me. I let out a small sound of disappointment.

"You though of a name yet?"

"Well no," Natsu answered, "I was kind of busy trying to keep this little guy warm…I'm going to have to think of a name…"

He stifled yawn and rubbed his eyes.

"Man, I really need to go get some shut eye."

"Then you need your sleep," Erza told him crossing her arms, "While we came here because we were worried about you, thought it seems that you were simply taking care of that little cute ball. It is unacceptable that you neglected your sleep to take care of it."

"Leave it to you to completely neglect something like that when you're focused on something else," Gray said.

"If I wasn't so exhausted I would be kicking your ass right now," Natsu said, yawning again.

"Yeah yeah," Gray said shaking his head.

Lucy let out a sigh as well as she stood up glancing toward Happy who was already snoring away from where he was lying down on the mat. I turned my gaze toward Natsu who looked like he was about to fall over from where he was lying down and then glanced toward the blonde before having a small smirk grow upon my lips.

"Lucy why don't you make sure that these two get some shut eye at least?" I asked the blonde, "The rest of us will go back to the guild, since it doesn't seem to be quite a serious situation as we previously thought."

Lucy gave me a glance.

"Wait…why me?"

"That is a good idea," the redhead said nodding lightly, "We'll be out of your way soon enough."

"Yeah," I agreed, before the blonde could get a word in, "We'll see you back at the guild in a few hours okay?"

With hurried footsteps, we were out of Natsu's house in a flash leaving the blonde behind to look after the Dragon Slayer. I couldn't help the small smirk growing upon my lips as Erza and I walked back through the path that first led us toward Natsu's home. Gray was walking a little ahead of us with both of his hands into his pockets not even looking back toward the two of us.

"I know that smile," Erza said drawing my eyes toward her, "You're planning something."

I blinked innocently.

"What are you talking about?"

"I know you well enough to know when you're planning something Eve," Erza said with a slight smile.

I let out a soft hum.

"Is that so?" I smirked, "Then what am I planning then?"

"I never said I knew what you were planning Eve," Erza answered, "All I know is that you're planning something….but for Natsu's sake, this little creature of his was quite adorable."
