KYLA'S POV.
1/6/20I followed King into his place, the first thing I saw was his brother Isaac sitting in the kitchen. And there was two little kids sitting in the living room. They were adorable, I've always thought about having kids but I'm scared of being a mother at the same time. I'm still too young for all of that so I try not to think too much about it.
"Bro why you always in my house?" King said taking his key back from Isaac.
"I got hungry and you was taking ya time. Wassup Ky." he said with a head nod.
"Hey, are they both yours?" I asked looking at the kids running around.
"Yeah they a lil wild don't get too close." he said making me laugh.
They both rushed over and stood right in front of me looking up at me. Both were both boys and looked just like their dad.
"Hi." the smaller one said. The other had thick curly hair and was chubby making him even cuter, he hugged my leg tightly.
"Y'all so friendly." King said walking over, he picked up one of them and the other wouldn't let go of my leg.
"I'm Kobe." he said with a big smile.
"Hi cutie." I said rubbing his cheek. He quickly put his arms up for me, I leaned down and picked him up.
"Y'all gone make me want a baby and that is not cute." I said and Isaac started laughing.

I walked into King's bedroom, he was sitting up playing his usual video games. As I went to walk past he pulled me into his lap. He wrapped his arms around my waist and he went back to playing the game.
"What is with you and this game?" I asked, any chance he got he'd be playing on his ps5.
"I don't even know." he chuckled, I felt his hand rub my thigh exactly here my scars were. He'd seen them plenty of times but never asked anything. They were faint but noticeable if you looked closely.
"They hurt?" he mumbled against my back.
I shook my head no, I hadn't done it in a year, it may not seem like it but that's a big milestone for me.
"I can ask you something? You don't gotta answer just curious.""Go ahead." I said, he turned off his game and put the controller down giving me his attention.
"Why you didn't leave Compton sooner?"
"I didn't have the money to up and leave." I shrugged, I had no issue speaking about it but my life before living here wasn't something we discussed often. But I could tell he was curious, thankfully he was just straight forward and asked me instead of asking someone like Jaylen.
"How come Zara didn't move here with you?"
"She never liked my mom so she just upped and left."
"She just left you?" King had made it clear to me that he's never understood that, he didn't care about the circumstances. He'd never leave his sibling behind.
