It has been a couple of days since King and Kyla have seen eachother. She got into moments where all she did was work and go home so that was exactly what she's been doing for days now. But King didn't expect to miss her so much, he'd been working too but all he could think about was Kyla. Only facetiming and messaging wasn't enough for him.

"Bye babe." Nina waved, she was now the receptionist of the tattoo store as well as an artist.

"Bye, see you." she waved before walking out.

Kyla got into her car and let out a deep breath she didn't even know she was holding. Her phone started ringing though her bluetooth and it was King. She pressed accept and set her phone up on the dashboard, so she could take off her jacket.

King sat just looking at her, not happy at all. "Fats why ian heard from you?"

"My phone's been bugging, but I did message you." she said, Kyla was convinced Apple starts to mess up iPhones as soon as they released a new one. Her phone wasn't even old but it's recently been acting up.

"Well I only just got it so we gone blame you."

"Fine blame me." she chuckled softly.

"You done with work?" he asked and she nodded.

"I got a couple days off now." she said, she wanted to see him but wasn't sure if he was free.

"Mine or yours?" he asked which only made her smile.
Right about now she could really use a hug from him.

"I can be at yours in an hour." she said looking at the time.

"You bringing blu fat ass?" he asked, Kyla smacked her lips at him insulting her baby yet again.

"Not too much on my baby." They exchanged a few words before saying goodbye. Kyla was exhausted but wanted to see her man asap. So she drove home and got herself in the shower and packed a bag.

It was almost eight when Kyla arrived at King's house ready for bed. She let Blu out who charged to the door already knowing where he was. She grabbed her bag and walked over to knock. King answered and took the bags from her right away. As soon as he set them down she hugged him, King scooped her up and attacked her with kisses.

"Boy it ain't been that long." she chuckled.

"It has." he said kissing her once more, then he carefully set het to her feet.

"I know you didn't cook." she said as the smell of some good cooking hit her.

"Don't do me like that I can cook." he said heading over to wash his hands.

Kyla did the same before sitting down, he gave her a plate. She was practically salivating at the sight of pot roasted lamb and potatoes

"Don't kill me but you spoken to Jay?" he asked randomly. Kyla took her time chewing and swallowing her food before she answered.

"No why?" she asked before taking another bite of the delicious lamb.

"Every-time I see him he asking about you. He just assuming you still work with me every day."
King shrugged.

Call her dramatic but Kyla honestly will never forgive her sister for the hurt she put her through and now Jaylen is cosy with her. Jaylen knew what type of person Zara was so why would he want to be with her?

King wanted to keep the boundaries they had. He didn't want to her be dragged into some drama that she didn't need. But Jaylen knew Kyla still worked for King and he assumed he'd help. Jaylen didn't like how distant Kyla had been with him especially since he had no idea why.
