King watched as his mother moved around the kitchen. She was putting food in containers for him to take home for himself and Kyla. His mother loved Kyla, she obviously had an impact on her son's life in a good way. She'd never seen him so happy before.

"Boy you nuts sitting there smiling, most people call that crazy." Isaac laughed as he took another bite of chicken. When his mother wasn't looking, King flicked his brother off.

"Hm how's things going?"

"Good, thank you." King thanked his mom for the food before taking the bag that she'd put the containers in.

King didn't want to talk in detail as he needed time to process it himself. These last few weeks had made him realise how much Kyla had changed him for the better.
And he felt blessed to have her as well as the special relationship they had.

As quietly as he could ,King entered the house, he knew Kyla was most likely sleeping. Carefully he stepped over a sleeping Blu and headed to the bathroom to quickly shower.

Meanwhile Kyla woke up to her belly rumbling. She stretched before slipping one of King's shirts on. She slipped her feet in her ugg slippers before heading to the kitchen.That was when she noticed the containers sitting out. Meaning King was home, so she headed back to the bedroom only to now hear the shower running.

"Baby." she said while knocking.

"Why you knocking mama?" he said opening the door.

"It's polite, where did the food come from?"

"My moms, just picked it up."

She nodded and turned around to leave him to shower but he grabbed her shirt. As she turned around he kissed her before letting her go.

Once she made herself a plate of food she put it in the microwave to heat up. Kyla loved his mother's food, she would take home cooking over takeout any day. Tonight the couple had plans so they wanted to make sure they had their belly's full before leaving the house.
Kyla wasn't exactly about tonight's event but it was important to King...well kind of.

Tonight Kyla and King were going down to his club since Bully wanted a casual place for his girl to be around his friends. They'd only very briefly met her once but Bully wanted everyone to be cool. Isaac and Jazlyn would also be there, as well as their cousin Miles.

King had left earlier since he had a few things to handle so he'd gotten his driver to pick Kyla up and take her to the club.

On arrival she greeted Jas for her welcome in shot at the bar before making her way up to the office. She knew she wouldn't make it through tonight without drinks.

Kyla poked her head into the office to see King on the phone. "Aight well we already here...mhm later."

"Cmere." King licked his lips as she walked in.

Tonight Kyla wore a black mini dress which hugged her thick figure, the spaghetti strings hung onto her shoulders while the back was open. She wore black heels that were laced around her ankles to match.

"Can we get drunk already?"

"They ain't even here yet." he said gripping her ass.
