Jericho

I looked into the mirror. Emarald green eyes incircled in bright orange stared back at me. I sighed, pushing away from the mirror. I looked around, my heart was pounding. I had another dream with Aleene, we talked ...and argued. Jameson walked in behind me, he was a servant. I whipped around towards him. "What?" I snapped.

"Nothing s-s-sir. It's just I brought your food. The food you had requested...Sir?"

"What?" I responded tersley.

"Are you well sir?"

"Yes." I snapped. I closed my eyes and pinched the bridge of my nose taking a deep breath, I had to calm down. It wasn't his fault, yet here I was snapping at him like a rabid pit bull.  I sighed.

"Jameson I'm fine thank you for worrying. But it's nothing." Nothing? Your lying. Your in love with with Aleene and you are being forced to marry someone else.  Yes....Kaira. The beautiful blonde tall, graceful Kaira. But... Your not in love with her.

I jumped when Jameson spoke again breaking me out of my silent reverie. "Sir- you must eat. Queen Ida says so. You must."

I nodded, taking the tray of raw meat and blood wine from him. He bowed and walked out.

I sat down and started to eat my meal. It was raw of course. Nothing like Werewolfs trying to say we eat humans for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They're wrong of course. We do eat humans but we don't kill them. Well I don't eat humans I think thats just gross! But any ways we vampires usually just eat raw meats from animals and blood from them too. So in a way I guess I could just say were vegetarians...in a way... I guess.

I continued to eat my food when Klair entered my room. She had on a long sky blue dress that was tight to her body. She sat down at the edge of my bed and glared at me.

"Whats up, ugly?"

"Nothing much Medusa?" I retorted. She cracked a smile for that one.

"You're getting good. Jericho." Shepaused. " I heard people were talking about a Ava might be in our midst."

Ava, which is like an avatar but for vampires. All vampires are born with a ability, they all are elemental though. Fire, wind, water, earth. The usual.  ALot of vampires didn't know but most likely suspected it that I was the Ava, but  I wasn't so sure. I mean yes I could talk to  people in my dreams and that was about it. I didn't have any of the elemental powers or anything. So obviously I wasn't the Ava...

But being the butt head Kaira is she had replied "Obviously you'll get them." She was the only one who knew. She was like my best freind. And that was another reason I wouldn't marry her. She agreed with me. But if we were to tell my Grandmother...or she were to find out. Well, that would suck-no pun intended.

"Iv'e got it, Iv'e bloody got it-no pun intended!" She said standing up. "We need an army. ANd we need not just any army but a GREAT army!"

I just stared at her with my mouth opened. Did I seriously hear what I thought I just hear? I thought frantically.
