I was shocked as I stared at Devale, "Crystal baby," he tried to touch me but I moved away. "No, no!"

I turned and rushed back to the living room, I grabbed my daughter and rushed out the door with him following me.

"CRYSTAL STOP!" I ignored him and Lani's cries and hopped into the car not even thinking about putting Lani in her seat.

I pulled off as fast as I could and made it to my apartment, as I parked outside my apartment the tears started flowing.

"Mommy, no cry!" Lani wiped her own tears and mine, "are you sad?" She whispered kissing my face.

I shook my head.

"I'm fine love, let's get out of this car." I grabbed all of our stuff along with my daughter. "Can I stay with you mommy?"

I nodded and picked her up, we got in the house and I locked the door. I gave her a bath before giving myself a shower.

I dressed her in white and put me on a white outfit, since it was only 6:21pm I decided to make us some snacks.

"Princess Tiana or Cinderella?" I asked scrolling through Disney plus, "Tiana!!" She yelled clapping. I laughed.

I got everything situated in my room, I took us some matching selfies and posted them on instagram before turning on the movie

| NEXT DAY |

"Strawberries and Pineapples, okay mama." I grabbed both fruits and placed them in the buggy.

"Mommy do I have school tomorrow?" I nodded, "Yes and mommy does too so I don't want you getting in trouble anymore."

"Okay I won't mommy!" I pecked her lips twice before pushing my buggy. "See that's all the fruit now it's time for snacks."

"Yay!" I turned the corner and smacked my teeth, "Crystal, don't run off let me talk to you."
Here Devale was again.

I just couldn't talk to him again, not after the last thing he said to me. Now Devale and I we were bitter but cool.

After we had sex that one time and I was a "bet." We stopped speaking unless it was school stuff.

However the day I went to his house and his girlfriend opened the door I was furious with him.

I told her to tell him I came by which she did and he unblocked me and called my phone. When I answered the first thing he said was.

"Don't play on my phone with that pregnant shit, begging for money or tryna get me back. Speak."

After that I just hung up, then he texted me a long paragraph cursing me out. He called me all type of names.

I never responded though, so after that he just started texting me out the blue for 5 months of my pregnancy with insulting things.

However nothing made me as hurt then when he wished death on me, and sent me our 'sex tape' threatening to post it.

I replied back with 'I hate you, you ruined my life.' before blocking him. After that we never spoke again.

He was still going to NYU and so was I but after my 1st year I transferred then when he graduated I went back.

(When they met he was in his 2nd year, she started on his 3rd year, then after 1 year she transferred then he graduated her 2nd year.)

"What do you want to talk about?" I mugged him, "Come on don't do that Crystal," he gave me a look.

"Don't do what?" I spat, I was so mad just seeing his face. He caused me so much stress in the little time I knew him.

"Mommy?" I looked down completely forgetting Dailani was there. "Yes mama?" she pointed to the snacks.

"Yes we're going mama, just let me talk to him really quick, here." I handed her my phone and put my AirPods in her ears.

"So you have a daughter?" Nigga we have a daughter. "Yes I do," I simply responded, "Can we talk sometime today?"

"Sure Devale, meet me at the coffee shop 10 minutes from here at about 4:30. Now bye." I pushed him aside and rolled my buggy off.
