"Thanks for meeting with me," I smiled kissing Crystals cheek. Lord knows I missed her more than anything.
I carried a burden on my life for these past five years, I couldn't help but feel bad for the way I did her.
She was just a little girl and there I was a grown ass man playing in her face. It's embarrassing looking back.
"No problem." Crystal smiled back, I pulled out her chair and she sat down. I then went over to my seat and did the same.
"You look pretty," I complemented her and she thanked me. "You don't look bad yourself." She replied.
"Crystal I'm going to cut straight to the point, Can we try again?" Her face shifted but I couldn't read it.
She looked down and then I felt the table shaking a tad bit, I studied her body language and her face.
Her leg was shaking and so was her hand, I reached over and grabbed her hand. "Just think about it, okay?"
Her body calmed down and her shakes grew weak until she stopped, "I'm sorry I just..."
"I don't know D, I mean we never really started but you were so disrespectful and narcissistic towards me."
"You made me feel so low of myself," She said, I think she believes I don't understand how hurt she was some of my comments.
I know and I understand, I wish I could take it lol back but I can't. "That's why I'm here trying to fix it, trying to fix us."
People may think like y'all literally known each other for a couple months but it felt like so much longer.
Only because of all the shit we went through, it was so toxic for it to be so short.
"I know that and I'm sorry, I really am. Crystal you have to know that everything I ever said wasn't meant to be said."
"I don't know that though Devale, calling me a stupid delusional bitch felt pretty meant to be said."
"Crystal- let's not forget the time you told me I was never going to be anything in life if I kept chasing dick."
Just hearing her say some of the things I said to her made my chest burn. "And my ultimate favorite."
"No Crystal don't say it please, I know baby I know." I grabbed her hand again, "I'm sorry Renee."
"It's fine Devale, I don't even know why I bring it up. I'm over it." She lied, I could tell just by her eye twitching.
That happens a lot when she lies, or when she's hungry she twists her hair. I also love how when she's mad her nose scrunches up.
"You're not and it's okay, I should've never said any of that because I didn't mean it. I just wanted to hurt you because I was bitter."
"You we're never a bet, I didn't even have any friends when we fucked. I don't know why I said that."
"Yea why did you D, because we were fine then all of a sudden I was a lil ass girl and a bet." She put her elbows on the table and rested her head on her hands.
"Noah texted you," I said, I could see her tense up and her expression changed. "What?" She coughed when she said it.
"The day we had sex. Noah texted you 2 times, I put your phone on silent."
"That's why when you asked what are we, I told you that you was my girl and I was for you am i right?"
She thought for a while before nodding, "Then all them vibrations you kept feeling thinking it was me came through."
"It was your boy Noah, i had your phone the entire time and you was thinking it was a bitch texting me."
"I was texting like you and shit and this nigga was talking to you hot, I scrolled up and saw some hair Ian wanna see."
"All that mad me feel like a dumb ass nigga so I reacted off my emotions."

I thought back to that night and remembered exactly what messages he was referring to, I looked at him with sad eyes.
"Devale I didn't mean that, I'm sorry. If I would've known I would've never said any of that."
That was the messages I wished death upon him and some other stuff. It was about a grade and me just not liking him.
It was in that 3rd week after he embarrassed me, Noah and I weren't talking really around that time. That's why he saw the messages.
They were right there, I remember I said 'This man is so fucking dumb. I really hope he gets hit by a bus. He gone change my grade to a damn c-. I'm finna get him fired immediately."
If i was him I'd be mad as well, especially what I said after that. However we're not even going to speak on it.
He nodded, "It's in the past baby, I forgive you. No matter what the things I said was unacceptable. I just want to do it right this time."
"Speaking of Devale I have to tell you something." He nodded ready to hear what she had to say, "Dailani, is yours."
"I know."
