Today I decided to attend Mr.Ellis's class, he been teaching random shit and ion know what the fuck it's about.
I just need to here it from him so I can get the meaning of it. "You leaving?" Mama asked when she saw me packing up.
I nodded, "I'm gone go because he ain't been teaching stuff I normally do, tryna get a better understanding."
"Yes boo, I know you don't play about them grades." I most certainly do not, I remember when a teacher gave me a c.
I did that presentation over 3 times until I got a A-, I don't even play like that. I study hard and work hard so I don't like my intelligence being played with.
"Yea mama you know but I'm going to see you after 4th period, I want to eat lunch together." I told her.
She smiled, I love hanging with my momma. She's a big support system and I genuinely like being with her.
"Okay baby cakes!" She kissed my cheek and I left, Kayla wasn't here today so I was there all alone.
I didn't mind because I had a few associates in that class that I could speak with here or there or just be on my phone.
When I got to his door he had already closed it meaning he started his lesson, I texted my mom and she sent me a note.
I knocked and he opened the door, "Well hello Ms.Hayslett." I did a tight lip smile, "You're lat- I cut him off showing him the note.
"Oh well okay then." I walked in and everybody said hey to me or tried to hug me but he shut that down.
"She's not a celebrity calm down." He said to everyone, they all smacked their teeth and got quiet.
I sat at my seat that I always sit at and waited for him to start his lesson, he gave us instructions on what to do.
We had to choose a partner but I declined everyone that asked to be mine, "Crystal you need a partner."
"I'll wait for Kayla to get back tomorrow." He sighed but nodded, once he went over to Olivia and Paige's group I got on my phone.
I FaceTimed Noah and he answered on the first ring, "Hey baby," I smiled, "Hey lucky what you doing?"
He calls me lucky because he says I'm his good luck charm. "I'm doing a project in Mr.Ellis's class."
"Oh you went back?" I nodded, "He started teaching stuff I had no clue about so I'm just trying to get up to date."
"Oh okay, are we eating lunch together?" I shook my head, "I'm having lunch with my mom."
"Oh that's fine, I was going to go with Dev nem to the lounge for that lil break. Is that okay?" I thought for a minute.
"Okay baby but please don't do nothing I wouldn't do, you know how dev and mico are." I do not like his friends at all.
They always encouraging him to do shit, that's why he cheated the first time. Trying to show out for their nappy headed ass.
"I won't, but Mr.Nye tripping about my phone some I'm going to call you later okay?" I nodded.
"Okay I love you," I spoke kissed the phone, "I love you to, mwah." I hung up and went on instagram.
"I see your back talking to your little boyfriend," I looked up o see Mr.Ellis at his desk.
"That's between my boyfriend and I," I mumbled looking back down, I started working on my project.
"I find that real funny- look I'm trying to work I'd appreciate it if you'd leave me be Mr.Ellis."
He chuckled.
"Now I'm Mr.Ellis, I'll love you to it Ms.Hayslett." He spoke and I nodded, im done with that whole situation.
He's 21 and acts like a 15 year old, he needs to grow up on his own time. I'm 18 and more mature then him.
I'll do me with my man and he need to make sure to do that same. I don't know why I even got involved with him.
I've learned my lesson.
