Chapter 8

It was the next morning I woke up early around eight thirty took my pill and drove of to the gym. I got there and looked for Frank's car but It wasn't there and it was already ten I waited a couple of minutes . He was nowhere to be found I called him
Hey where are you ? I asked
I'm on my way I woke up late sorry are you already there he asked
Yea I got here at ten but I'll wait for you here I said
OK bye.
I stayed in the car for fifteen minustes and he still wasnt here so I just decided to go in and start working out by myself.
I began my normal workout and I tried doing cross fit by myself I was doing pretty good for starters.
I finished my workout it was past twelve in the afternoon and frank never showed up. He didn't even call to say he wasn't coming I was tired of waiting so I drove back home when I got of my car Vinnie was outside playing soccer. He threw the ball over my fence I catched it he came running over Hey sorry it was an accident. I'm pretty sure he did it on purpose but I didn't say anything I just gave it to him. Who's that guy you were with yesterday he asked me. That guy is my friend I answered
Don't you think it's to early for you to start seeing others he asked.
Um it's none of your business who I talk or see anymore remember were not together anymore and you slept with someone with out even ending your relationship first. So I think you should rethink about what you did first before trying to teach me. He didn't say anything and I went home
I entered my room and yelled OMG why me?? I was so tired of everything I think I need to leave for the rest of this summer and get out of here. I can't anymore having him as a neighbor is killing me and then frank not showing up was just enough. I checked my phone and I had five missed calls from Frank and two texts saying "I'm really sorry I didn't show up something came up and I couldn't call you to tell you please call me back I'm sorry" Should I call him back I kept asking myself
But what am I supposed to say to him that it's OK his going to think I'm easy. Fine I'll call him back but I'm going to act like I don't care or I'm going to be rude.I grabbed my phone and called him back
Hello? I said
Hey I know your mad at me because I didn't call you to cancel for the gym date we had but something really important came up and I couldn't cancel please forgive me he pleaded.
And what was so important? I asked
One of the wrestlers that works for me decided to get drunk and do something stupid so he injured his leg and I had to go see if he was OK to wrestle next week on our fist match. Is he OK? I asked
Unfortunately no he fractured his left knee and has to rest for at least 4 weeks while his knee heals so I don't have another wrestler for next week's match. He answered
But I thought you had like thirty boys training for that match I asked. I do but like you said they are in training they don't know all the moves yet and Rob the boy that got injured does he has been wrestling since middle school.
Why don't you get a list and choose fifteen as starters for each match you guys have so everything would be in order incase one gets hurt.I suggested
That's a really good idea I should have thought about that he said
Just do wrestle offs and choose your best fifteen as starters I said
Yea I will I'll ask them to come in today so I can see them wrestle and start preparing them for next week's match actually would you like to join me he asked
Are you going to leave me hanging again I asked
No I won't I'll pick you up at five
OK see you at five bye. He hung up the phone
I hope this time he doesn't leave me hanging because if he does I don't know what I'm going to do. I went down stairs to go see if my mom was home and I saw that Vinnie's mom was in the living room I tried to keep walking but she yelled my name.
"Bethany"
Hey how are you she asked
I'm doing great what about you mrs.lopez
I'm glad your good I'm wonderful thanks for asking your going somewhere she asked
Yea I am I answered
I see you have a new guy friend she said
Yea I do I answered
I see you move on pretty quick and didn't really feel much for Vin. She said
Mrs.lopez it's not that I move on pretty quick or didn't like Vinnie enought it's I have the right to talk to whoever I want to and apparently I see Vinnie didn't tell you what really happened so I would try asking him. I hope you have a great afternoon mrs.lopez bye I said
OMG I can't believe I even have his mom trying to teach me how to deal with my love life ugh I really need to take a break from all of this people or else I'm going to crazy.
I got in my car and Called frank
Hey I'm going to just drive there can I have the address please I asked
Why you don't want me to pick you up he asked
No its not that I just need to get out of my house a little bit earlier I answered
Oh OK he said
He gave me the address and hung up
I drove there but first I needed my coffee so I stopped at Starbucks. I entered as I was ordering I turned my head and I see Vinnie with Brianna sitting together.
