Chapter 12

I walked out to the gym the boys were all staring at me like if they had never seen me before.
Frank was sitting on the benches talking to the guys . He got up and grabbed my arm.
Are you going out tonight he asked
Yes I am I answered
Where it's already seven he asked
That doesn't concern you so please excuse me I have somewhere to be.
I didn't want to embarrasse him in front of the guys so I just walked out. Frank ran to get his stuff and catched up to me.
What is your problem he asked
What's my problem really what's your problem I said
You were late to practice and you lost your first match that's my problem he said
I was twenty minutes late I fell asleep I was tired. I lost my first match what the heck frank it was my first day. How was I supposed to know everything especially when that was my punishment for being late. I said
You don't understand do you wrestling is my life if your late you make everyone late if you lose your first match it shows you don't care. He said
I don't understand what you want I worked my ass of today I'm exhausted I'm sore but I'm still here and I'm not giving up, I'm trying so hard to make you happy to make your team better but you don't see it. You only see the bad things I do. I said
I have to go I will be here tomorrow early don't worry I said
Where are you going he asked
I'm going bowling frank with my two best friends you want to know anything else I asked.
He didn't say anything I drove off.
I wasn't in the mood for bowling but I had to go
Hey I'm on my way I called Juan
OK were here already he said
I got there and I entered I saw Vinnie with them.
Hey you guys I said
Your finally here Juan said
Yea sorry I'm late I was busy I said
What's on your arm Andy asked
Oh I got a bruise I said
With what that looks like someone hit you Juan said
No its I got hurt in practice since it was my first day I needed to train, I said
Practice? Juan said
Yes I'm the coach of a new wrestling team that was just started I said
You wrestle they both said
Yes well they asked if I could be there new coach. So I said yes
OK are we going to bowl or not Vinnie yelled
What is he doing here I asked
We thought you guys were still together so we invited him as a surprise for you Juan said
Yes what a great surprise I said
Where's your guy friend Juan asked
He works with me he coaches the team with me so he had to stay longer I said
I had to lie because I wasn't going to make frank look bad in front of Vinnie.
We began to bowl it was a great way to help me get things of my mind I needed it.
Juan invited a girl I think they were dating.

You and Juan are something I asked
Yes we have been together for about three months she said
Oh that's nice he didn't tell me he had girlfriend but I wish you guys the best I said

Was I jealous that Juan had a girl no I couldn't be I never saw him that way. I saw how she was hugging him and he was all over her no. I can't Beth you don't like him you just care so your jealous that he has another girl besides you in his life. I swear I'm so weird now I seem to have feelings for Juan I'm a mess.
I was the only one that didn't have someone to be with I was a loner. Juan had his girl so did Andy and it was only me and Vinnie.

No I just don't talk to liars I said
Your funny so I saw your with that boy frank he asked
That's not your business and how do you know his name I asked

You know what's funny Beth you took him in your house so quickly but when I asked to go in you never let me in. Shows how easy you are he said
It's none of your business what I do and if I wanted a stalker I would go ask you myself but I don't so stay away from me. I told you the first time and now I'm telling you again. Stay away from me I said
I walked away I'm done I have to go home.
