Chapter 9
(Sunshine POV)

After a nice car drive through the city we pulled into a nice Italian restaurant and I noticed how Ashton got out of the ccar and walked to mine and opened it, guiding me in "Hello sir madam how can we help you tonight?" the hostess said showing all kind of cleavage "Yes table for two under the name Ashton" he said clearly checking out her chest which made my heart hurt I mean it shouldn't be a big deal but Gavin would never do that he always made it clear that I was the only woman in the world to him and the thoughts of those good times is making me miss him.

Snapping out of my thought the hostess led us to a private booth in the back and left us with a nice view of the skyscrapers, looking at Ashton I started to feel my palms sweat it's been so long since i've been on a date but this is gonna be good for me i need to get out more. Ashton ordered for both of us 'So tell me about yourself I have to be honest you are very hard to find on social media and Amy doesn't talk much about her personal life" he said pouring us both a  glass of wine which I took and drank a little to help calm my nerves.

Smiling at him I said "Well I don't like social media it's to toxic and not good for my mental health but really there is not much to tell I grew up in Socal I'm the baby in my family we are a super close family, I was definitely the black sheep of my family because I was super goth.. Well I still am but not like I used to be but I went to college to work with children but also got my degree in publishing. I love true crime documentaries and living in LA it's the city of dreams." taking another sip of my wine I chuckled "So tell me about yourself!"

For the rest of our dinner Ashton went on with his life in new york and his family's many houses as well as his life at a fancy university in italy and how him and his old friend did jobs in order to make money, he reached into his pocket and pulled out his wallet and handed me a small old folded picture and he handed it to me "this is me and my best friend we lost contact years ago but he helped me with my business'' he said proudly. Taking the picture I opened it and looked at the two teen boys shaking hands standing next to a really scary looking older man and my body started to shake... Holy fuck no! Looking at the picture I saw a teenage Gavin and then I realized that the older man also looks just like Gavin, NoNO this cannot be happening! Ashton took the photo back and looked at it ''His father is a billionaire who lives here in LA now but I haven't seen them in years'' he said, still looking at the photo.

Looking around I made sure that I was able to escape if needed but as I tried to gather my thoughts I froze staring out the window, my breath hitched as I saw Gavin standing across the street just staring at me. No this isn't real he's locked up I know it I just need to calm down which is not possible "Hey are you ok?" Ashtons words snapped me out of my thoughts and I looked at him then back at the street  and saw that he was gone. Maybe I was going crazy after taking a breath. I looked at him and smiled "Yes but do you mind if you take me home I'm suddenly not feeling so well, and with that he paid the check, drove me home and drove away. Well at least I can say I went on a date.....
