Chapter Six

Gavin's POV

Passing back and forth in my office I started getting anxious since Jason isn't back yet I am worried my light has changed since I've been away for so long. What if she is with someone else?.. Ugh, the thought alone makes my vision turn red. I'll kill anyone who gets in my way. Looking outside I see his car pull up in the driveway and I bursted out of my office doors and stormed down to meet him at the front door "Well??!!? Where the fuck have you been? Did you see her?" I shouted, taking all the air from my lungs, but he just laughed and walked right past me into the kitchen like nothing which boiled my blood even more. Grabbing the nearest thing I picked it up and threw it against the wall and shouted "TELL ME!!"

Jason looked at me and rolled his eyes "Oh my gosh relax you crazy bitch, she is fine!!" he shouted back throwing a piece of bread at me ''She is still as kind and sweet as ever and you my dear cousin are an uncle to a cutie of a boy" he said while making a sandwich and I felt a mix of emotions at first I was almost bursting when I heard him say "you are a" and I was ready to hear "You are a father" knowing me and sunshine only had sex a few times before I was taken from her I would have assumed it would have resulted in a baby which would have been the best news I would have ever gotten in my life but a nephew is second best. Looking at Jason and smiling, "I'm an uncle, does my brother know? Or not?" I asked pouring a drink and Jason just nodded his head "he's taking it in and settling with the idea, you know him he is worried he'll be like your dad" he said as gently as he could.

He was right with how he felt our father was the devil in human flesh, he was the head of the family and he made sure everyone knew it and didn't think twice about putting a bullet between anyone's eyes man or woman no one was safe. He would enjoy putting the fear and beatings into us and our mother, who didn't deserve any of what my father gave her because she was an angel and a good person. Sunshine reminded me a lot about my mother which was why I needed her in my life and I'll have her back soon I know I will! My mother was a strong person.

(Flashback)

Gavin age 17:

Walking into the compound with my men and cousin Jason we sat our backpacks down in our game room and started shouting, when we started talking out the girls that were hot and how the guys wanted to go to Jessica's party Friday night. Jessica was the school slut and she was trying to get on my dick since freshman year but after a few minutes of the guys talking I walked downstairs to the kitchen and started looking through the fridge when I felt a hand smack the back of my head "Oww what the fu.." I stopped dead silent when I saw my mom behind me "mom what I do" I said rubbing my head. She stood with her arms crossed and I knew she meant business "Gavin Nicholas Sterling I thought I raised you better than to treat girls like they are nothing!!" she said shaking her head, she alway makes me feel like a child when she uses my full name and she put her hand on my shoulder and looked at me with a sad face "Gavin I want you to find a good person someone who is kind and loving not just because they are skinny or a model but because they are true in their hearts looks aren't always forever...I don't want you to have a marriage like me and your father." she said with tears in her eyes.

From that day on I changed no more playing around..well minus a few slip ups. What!?! I am a man, I wanted to make my mom proud of her daughter in law and I know Sunshine is that person...
