Chapter Eleven

(Sunshine's POV)

As I pulled up to the house I could see the balloons being hung up by Erick and Jason as they were laughing together which made my heart happy. It's been two months and they have been seeing each other ever since that playdate with Susie and Alex. It's great he deserves happiness. He has been through so much because of me and I want him to have the world because he is the best person in the world. Parking the car I looked over at the papers to the apartment and decided to ignore it for today and pretend it doesn't exist, as I got out I got the cake and gave them a hug and kiss hello while putting the cake in the fridge.

After an hour of decorating everyone started showing up all of our aunts and uncles but most importantly our parents which is so important to me cause I missed them so much I feel as if I am not as I used to be because of everything that happened with Gavin. Hugging everyone saying my hellos I walked into the kitchen and started to grab the food when I noticed Ashton park his car and start walking towards the house, smiling I walked to the door and opened it eagerly "Hey I am so glad you made it come on in" I said giving him a hug. He gave me a grin and said "Of course thank you for inviting me" as he followed me into the party we started to get the food out for everyone.

As the party is continuing we all start to play music as Amy and the other moms watched their kids playing musical chairs and this is exactly what I needed a good fun distraction from everything, I don't know what I am gonna do about the apartment but I am curious about what it's looks like. If Gavin bought it when we were together then what was his plan exactly and what is in that apartment but I can't think about it right now because it's gonna take over my mind. Looking around at everyone I started to feel a whole lot better and remembered why I left Gavin because I wouldn't be able to handle not having my family and my support system here, as I looked around I noticed that I haven't seen Ashton this whole time so I started walking over to the side of the house when I felt a hand on my arm "Sunny come on we are gonna sing happy birthday" Amy said with a bright smile on her face and I smiled back and followed her over to the present table.

Looking at Alex in his birthday hat all excited that everyone is here just makes my heart melt I remember the when Amy found out she was pregnant right after the whole arrest she was so scared and not ready but Eric and I always reassured her that she was never alone and since then we have always been by her side even in the delivery room. After he blew out his candles we all cheered and the kids ran off to play some more, then I remembered I was looking for Ashton and I started to walk back towards the side of the house. As I slowly approached the side I could make out the sound of his voice and I started to investigate and I got the wall and stuck my ear out to listen "Yeah I am gonna head out soon its such a fucking snooze feast" he said in a harsh tone and I felt my stomach hit the floor "No I am not dating Katherine you really think I would date a fatty?" He said harshly with a chuckle and I could just feel the tears form in my eyes and my chest started to tighten. Looking around at all the happy families and couples I started to to panic and feel the urge to run, I sprinted into the house and grabbed my purse and key, and I jumped right into my car and started to drive away to anywhere really but as I started down the road I looked down at the yellow envelope and sighed.... Fuck It....
