Chapter Thirteen

Gavin's POV

Sitting in my office I stared at the flat screen TV that shows multiple hidden cameras I have hidden around the penthouse. This is perfect just how I wanted it. My light is safe under my roof and by the expressions on her face she is amazed and conflicted on if she should stay or go. My light is finally under my control again even though she doesn't know it yet, but she will in time remember just who she belongs to. I've been waiting too far for this and I won't let her get away from me Ever Again! Picking up my phone I called Jason waiting for the ring he picks up in a huff "Yes cousin is it important I am busy getting ready to go out with Eric so make it quick" he said rifling through his closet making me chuckle I am glad he's found someone, happiness that's what he deserves that after the childhood we had that's what we both deserve happiness.

Chuckling I stared at the screen "Yes I need you to send me everything you have on Ashton I saw that fucker and my sunshine on a date and that is never gonna happen again" I said through clenched teeth, as I notice sunshine talking on the phone visibly crying which made my heart shatter "just get it to me ASAP!!" I shouted and hung up. Picking up the remote I unmuted the audio and listened "Yeah that's what he said! He called me fat Amy, what if he's right no man is ever going to want someone like me so I just ran away. I needed to clear my head. That's all, I am fine now" she said through sobs and tears. That piece of shit I am gonna kill him!!! I thought as I threw my paperweight through my window and started shouting every bad word under the sun I was about to throw something when my phone chimed making me pause and put down the object and look at the file Jason sent me of Ashton, including his address.. Good! I rang up my driver and gave him the address and headed out the door.

After driving to Glendale we pulled up to a nice looking condo building, opening my door I got out and pulled out my gun making sure I have bullets then putting it back in my hulster and looked back at my driver "Remember David any witnesses need to be dealt with'' I said heading into the building to the elevator and straight to the top floor. Waiting for the ding I got out and headed to the front door ringing the doorbell and covered the peephole and when the door opened I slammed the door in his face smashing his nose making him scream in pain. Smiling, I squatted down to his level and grabbed him by the shirt "So first you try to get into my wife's pants then you have the nerve to call her fat?!! I shouted in his face "You made her cry now I'm gonna make you cry for mercy" I said punching him over and over again all I could hear was sunshine sobbing which made the fuel fire in my rage, all I could see now was red before blacking out leaving Ashton bloody on the floor.

By the time I came back to reality I was standing at the front door of our penthouse and opened the door quietly and checked the entry way for anyone, tiptoeing down the hall into our bedroom where sunshine was laying in bed fast asleep. Smiling, I sat down on a chair in the corner of the room just watching her chest rise and fall made me calm, knowing that she is safe in my control. Getting up I bent down and kissed her on the forehead and left a note and a red rose on the nightstand, heading towards the door I reached for the doorknob and froze when I heard a soft whisper "Gavin" turning around slowly I see sunshine still asleep but dreaming of me... Smilingi whispered back "Soon my light soon"....
