Chapter Two

Sunshine's POV

After a few minutes of just staring at the card I tried to catch my breath and gathered the bunch of roses and found the nearest dumpster and tossed them, walking back to my car I got in and pulled out my cell phone and looked up the court video of Gavin's court hearing which was from a year ago it helps remind me that he is gone and put into a secured place and while watching the video I noticed Gavin's ex from the club in the courtroom and I felt a ping in my heart and some jealous. I realize it seems strange to feel this way but I can't help it looking around I grabbed my keys and started the car and starting to driving down the street and checked all my surroundings when my phone rang, looking down i see it's Amy and I relaxed "Hey girl I have the dress I'll put it in your closet for it" I said and she sighed "can you do me a favor and come to my office and help me with something I'll buy lunch?" She sounded a little defeated and I laughed "Ok I am on my way" I said turning on the freeway.

After 30 minutes of driving I pulled into the underground I drove to Amy's office and parked but looking over my shoulder I made sure to check all my surroundings and started walking towards the elevators when I looked back and froze in place, there is the middle of the parking lot was Gavin standing in one of his best suits and just looking at me and i felt  the blood drain from my face. Looking at him I heard the elevator ding which snapped me out of my haze and I looked in the elevator then back to gavin but he wasn't there like he  just vanished out of thin air but I slowly walked into the elevator and pressed the button, taking deep breaths I looked at myself in the reflection and said "it's ok he is locked  up and he can't hurt you anymore", just then the elevator stopped on her floor and I started walking down the hall saying ''hi'' to the workers I knew and got to her office and knocked on her door when she opened the door I noticed her boss sitting by her desk and I could see in her face that she was uncomfortable. Amy's boss Mr. Jackson  is in his early thirties and he gives me and some of his co workers a real creepy vibe, he is always standing closer to us then we want and is always caught staring at us longer than normal and I can't stand that. Looking at him I gave him a half smile and crossed my arms ''Hello Mr. Jackson can I have speak to my sister alone" I said short and a little aggressive, he looked  at amy and then at me and stood up and smirked ''of course, amy i'll be back to discuss the company party arrangement'' he said as he walked passed us and out of the room, rolling my eyes I slammed the door behind him and locked it. 

Looking at Amy I groaned "what a fuckinbg creep how do you put up with that jackass?" I said sitting on her office couch and she laughed and sat at her desk "easy he knows I would report his ass'' she said working on her computer, giggling I looked at her pictures of us and Eric and all of Alexander's baby pictures and I sighed and looked at her " I saw him again Amy he was in the parking garage" I said rubbing my eyes. Amy got up and walked over to me and gave me a hug and I held her tight "I know honey I am the same too it's not easy but you have to remember that he is in jail far from us and he doesn't know we changed our names and everything.. We are safe sunshine, we just need to take it one day at a time ok?" she said rubbing my back in comfort and I wiped away some tears and gave her a smile. Maybe she is right. I just need to remember he is long gone and he can't hurt me or control me  anymore...
