Ready to go?!

I woke up in my room with Jocelyn and Bently by my side. "Alice!" Jocelyn practically tackled me. "Miss Alice! Thank goodness you are awake!" Bently said as he decided to stand at a distance and watch.

"What happened?" I asked looking at Bently. Jocelyn was crying and had her head resting on my neck hugging me like I was raised from the dead. "Miss Jocelyn went to look for you since you didn't come back for tea, and we couldn't find you. When she found you passed out under a tree with this bump on the side of your head. She found you at about 4:30 and you just woke up now at... 7:45." He said checking a pocket watch he pulled out from his Jacket pocket.

"Thank you Bently for filling me in... Question, does the name Clear ring a bell to you?" I said wrapping my arms around Jocelyn who just hung on tighter. "Im afraid not miss. Would you like me to bring a tray up with your dinner?"Bently said. "No, I will come down." I said giving him a warm appreciative smile. "I will take my leave come down when you are ready for dinner." He said as he took his leave.

I hugged Jocelyn for awhile then asked, "Are you okay?" "I was just scared. You where not responding when I called to you. Then to find you laying deathly still on the forest floor scared me so bad. I thought I would never hear the voice of my best friend ever again." She said hugging me tighter. "It's okay. I'm here, let's go down stairs and eat. It will help calm you down." I said as I hugged my best friend. "Okay." She then got off me wiping her face from tears. Her eyes where so red and swollen.

The next day I woke up with the sun. Which is extremely rare for me to do. I got dressed into a white lace dress that hit below my knees. With short sleeves that reached my elbows. On the bottom of the dress where some small pastel colored flowers. I then put on flat black Mary Jenes shoes.

I went to my vanity again putting on the pearl earrings my mother gave me. I then looked at my self in the mirror and put my hair up in a messy braided bun on the back of my head. I walked down the hall to the library and chose my favorite book.

Then I walked down to the dinning room sat down and started to read my book again. The excitement of a new case wakes me up early, but I am not normally an early riser.

Bye the time it was 7:30 in the morning, Bently and Jocelyn came down stairs. We ate breakfast then left the dinning hall toward the stairs. We went walking so our backs where facing the stairs down a hall with different artifacts and things my family had collected over the years which I found interesting.

At the end of the hall we exited a double door. When we got outside I saw the big water fountain. Around it was a gravel path wide enough for coaches to drive on. The gravel path separated in two directions one was toward the stables the other was toward the dirt road that you take through Sherwood forest to get too Nottingham.

We got into a coach that was driven by someone I didn't recognize. The man had red hair, brown eyes, a mustache, and looked very rude. He wasn't my usual coach driver Sam. I wonder where he went... It was a 20 minuet ride to Nottingham. As we were getting in I was able to spot James and Henry sneak in while the man was distracted with talking to Bentley. Now all that was left was to wait till we got to Nottingham.
