Chapter 12- DeShaun

   "Awe, that's sweet." My grandma Etta said, looking at us.

   "I love u, baby." Takeoff said, looking into my eyes.

   "I love u too, Takeoff." I said, leaning in placing a kiss on his lips.

   "I don't fucking like him." I heard DeShaun tell one of his brothers Lil Jerry, before getting up walking out the house.

    "I'll be back." I said, getting up walking out, following DeShaun.
   "What u doing out here, go back in there with ur boyfriend." DeShaun said, looking away from me.

   "What's wrong with u? Why don't u like him.?" I asked, looking up at him.

   "Its nun." He said, looking over at me. I narrowed my eyes at him and stared.

    "I just don't want u with him. Ur gonna get married, have kids and forget about ur past and me." DeShaun explained, looking at me then away, inhaling the smoke, afterwards blowing the smoke out.

   "That's how u feel? DeShaun, why would u think that? I didn't have no problem, when u were out there in them streets. Seling, dealing, having guns, being in gangs, and not coming home." I said, looking at him, he looked at me. DeShaun put him blunt out and hugged me.

    "I'm sorry cousin. I just feel like, he gon hurt u, one day." DeShaun explained, whispering in my ear. "U know, ur one of my favorite female cousins."

   "And u one of my favorite male cousins." I said, pulling away from the hug, poking his dimples.

    "Don't touch my face." DeShaun said, slowly moving my hand.

   "U know, u gon have to get along with him or give him a chance." I said, as we started back to the house, he looked at me and shook his head yes.

    "Hey, babe. Aye yo sister crazy." Takeoff said, as I sat next to him, kissing his cheek.

   "Ya I know." I said, laughing a little.

    "Cuz come here." Doo boo said, I got up and went to the back room. When I got in there, Doo boo, Lil Jerry, DeShaun and Tay Tay was sitting in the bed looking up at me.

   "Cuzo does he treat u right.?" DeShaun asked, facing me then looked at Lil Jerry.

   "Yes he does. He's actually the nicest guy, I've ever met. He treats me well, buys me stuff without telling me. When I'm down and feeling like no one cares, he's there to tell me otherwise." I said, explaining to them, Tay Tay looked at me and smiled.

   "That's really sweet." Tay Tay said, looking over at me, she got up and hugged me. "He's perfect for u."

   "I love him." I said, I got up, went in the living room and sat on Takeoff's lap. I faced him and put my head in his neck then took a deep breathe.

   "What's wrong.?" Takeoff asked, I shook my head and closed my eyes, as he wrapped his arms around my waist.
