Chapter 11- Meeting the family

   "Baby, what's wrong.?" Takeoff asked, playing with my hair, as London and D'Angelo walked in.

   "My family. I'm worried about how my family gon act or treat u." I said, sitting up, looking down at him.

   "Baby, why u worried about what other people think about us. We love each other, that's all that matters." Takeoff said, grabbing my face into his hands. I looked down, he pulled my face up and gave me a kiss.

   "Ur right." I said, kissing him again, London sat on the bed and smiled at me.

    "Don't let no one try to ruin ur relationship." London said, looking at me then D'Angelo.

    "When u wanna go see them.?" Takeoff asked, placing one of his hands on my thigh.

    "A week from now." I said, he shook his head yes, smiled and laid back down.

    "Hello." London said, answering her phone. She shook her head when said yes. After a while, her and D'Angelo had to leave.

    A week later

   "Ok, we gon go in here say hi then leave." I said, making a plan, before we went into my aunt's house, filled with all my family members.

    "No, babe. We gon do it right, cause u still gotta meet mines." Takeoff said, opening the door for me, helping me out the car. I shook my head, we got to the door and out of no where, it swing open and my cousin DeShaun stood there looking at us.

   "So, Christina." My sister Chantel said, looking over at me.
   "Ya, wassup." I said, looking up at her then my brother Jonathan.
   "What the fuck is that.?" My cousin Doo Boo asked, pointing at my ring.

   "Her engagement ring." Takeoff said, looking over at me, smilling, touching my cheek.

   "What.?" My cousin DeShaun said, standing up, looking down at me.

  "U getting married.?" My other cousin Tay Tay asked, smiling at me.

   "Yes, but not now." I said, smiling at her and then looking at Takeoff.

  "How did he ask u.?" Tay Tay asked, getting up, grabbing my hand, looking at it.

   "He didn't really tell me, our friend did." I said, smirking over at Takeoff. He smiled and looked away.

    "Baby, that song, u were singing the other day." Takeoff said, looking at me.

   "Takeoff, stop." I said, he smirked at me. I put my finger up, "One time."

   "Ok one." Takeoff said, smiling then looked over at Tay Tay.
  
  "It was Valentine's Day February the 14th. My baby took me to take a special place, said he had a surprise for me. He told me to close my eyes, so that I could not see and when I open them up he was on one knee reaching for my hand. (that's when.) He proposed to me, heap coals with this diamond ring. I started crying. He placed it on my finger and I said yes. He proposed to me. He proposed with a diamond ring, I couldn't believe it I looked in his eyes and said yes. I'll never forget that night it was 8:43 p.m. to be precise. He looked in my eyes and saud you made me the happiest man alive. Soon as I got home, I called my mother on the phone. Said momma you won't believe what just happened to me. We will be together. This I know. We will love forever my heart told me so. If you promise to hold me tight and never let me go. Will be husband and wife for the rest of our lives." I said, finishing looking over at Takeoff. He leaned in and kissed me on the cheek.
