"It's over. I'm done with your bullshit." She shouts, tears welling up in her eyes as she flings her bag over her shoulder.

"Y/N, I-"

She stormed outta that front door like a bat outta hell, headed to her mamas house.

It looks like him and her are over as far as he can tell.

He leans back into the door after he watches her drive off, the taillights of her car being all he could see for a mile until they fade away into the darkness with a cloud of dust behind her.

She swings the door to her mama's house wide open, running into her arms with tear stained cheeks and runny mascara that claimed to be waterproof. "We're over. For good."

Her mamas bony hand runs through her hair. "You'll be okay darlin'."

Gabriel really went out and done it this time, feeling like he bares all the weight of their breakup on his shoulders.

He took the blame and he swallowed his pride. If this is how's it's gonna be, he's gonna tell everybody what she's done to him.

She made his heart turn black now he can't turn back to what he used to be.
She made him hate his hometown, when he drives around he imagines her with him in the shotgun seat of his Ford F-150.

They said forever then she walked out.

He took her blue skies and turned 'em into dust clouds, her doing the same back to him as all he saw were the taillights of her car and a thick cloud of dust following as the car kicked up rocks behind it from the spinning tires the day she left, leaving him behind with a cold, broken heart.

He built it all up, just to tear it all down.

They were burnin' wild, now they're burnin' out.

It's been weeks since their breakup now, and he's heard the word going around Hamilton, Georgia.

She found her a new man, and she moved on just like that.

After everything they've been through together she goes and finds a new man almost as soon as she's gone.
As if he couldn't feel worse, by her finding somebody new this soon-he does. He feels like dog shit because of her.

He runs his hand through his messy hair. "How'd she forget me so fast?"

He's been on the bottle more.
Jack Daniels with a seven on the label's his best friend.

The next morning he wakes up with bloodshot eyes, and an empty can of Natty Light at the foot of his bed and his sheets falling off into the floor.

He really hopes he gets over her soon because this is miserable.
"I really hope the grass is greener on the other side, 'cause she made my heart turn black 'n now I can't go back to what I used to be.."
