Chapter Thirty-Two: Lost it All

"Please tell me this is some sick joke. Please tell me that you're getting back at me for leaving you, please," he begs, hurt veiling his blue eyes.

"I'm not sure if you really want me to lie to you. Not sure if anyone would want to be lied to," I frown. "So this is happening. You really don't remember me," he shakes his head, blinking away the tears away from his eyes.

"I'm sorry, I really am. But I couldn't really help it, y'know; losing my memory." "I know," he laughs sadly, "I guess I just wanted to be enlightened." He weakly smiles.

I laugh, "Maybe we can start hanging out? Since we knew each other and stuff," I smile. "Yeah, I'd love that."

"Honey, I'm home!" I shout as I barge in my house. I hear a close laugh from the kitchen, "Hey sweetie," Jeff says as he walks out of the kitchen.

He hugs me and kissed my temple. "How was work?" "Oh, extremely busy. And one question," I say dragging him to the living room.

"Hmm?" He hums. "So it's about my past. A guy; named Andy came in today, he said that I had known him for years. Do you ever remember him? About me talking about him or any relations with him...?"

He looks down, "I've never met him, but I remember you talking about him. It was a few years after we broke up, you two started dating. Let's just say that didn't work out."

"Wow." "Yeah I know. Oh and, you two were enemies and then became best friends when you guys were teens."

"And here I was thinking I had a completely normal, undramatic life." I have to say, I'm surprised by all of this.

Andy was my best friend, then enemies, then best friend again, then boyfriend and girlfriend, then forgotten.

I've lost a lot.
