Chapter Thirty-Six: The End

After we had arrived at the airport, we stood there, waiting ten, long minutes for both of our parents to make their way towards us. I'm assuming they haven't got off the plane yet.

But the wait, it was kind of interesting, in a way. Andy kept at staring at me as if I was the most precious thing that he has ever saw.

"Do you want to take a picture? I'm sure you'll get off on that," I snicker at his tinted cheeks. "No, I'd much rather have you in person rather than in a photo, and I was just going to say you look beautiful."

I push my discolored bangs further in my face to conceal my embarrassing blush. "You do know that I'm wearing old sweatpants, a baggy shirt, oh and my hair looks like crap on top of it, right?"

"I don't care. You still look stunning," he smiles sweetly, pecking my temple. "Wow, why did Juliet even think about cheating on you," I whisper clinging myself to Andy's side.

He chuckles cutely, "A girl named Juliet cheated on me?" I sometimes wonder how he can hear some things. "Well, yeah. In my dream; you were going to MARRY her," I reply.

He laughs again, "Why do you sound so jealous over a make believe girl? I'm yours, and you're mine. End of story." He grumbles.

"Does anyone ever tell you how adorable you are? Because oh my God, I really want to squish you up and cuddle you," this situation makes me wonder how he acted around Scout when he was dating her.

Wait, I need to stop. We're together now, that doesn't matter nor will it ever.

"Then why don't you?" He stares down into my eyes. "Because we're in public," I state, using the dull 'duh' tone.

"Like that matters. I see people almost every time I go out, sticking each other's tongues down their throats, what's so wrong with us just cuddling?"

"You know if you wanted to cuddle that bad, you could've just said so," I smile gently. "Fine, please give me cuddles," he pouts. Oh God, he looks too cute, now I really want to squish him.

"Okay you cutie pie," I murmur dragging him over to one of those really uncomfortable, small, sofas they have in the airport.

We both sit down and he pulls me tightly against his chest, his steady heartbeat relaxing me. I nuzzle my nose on his shoulder.

"What's taking them so long? We've been here for over twenty minutes," I groan. "I'm not going to complain, I'm really comfortable right here; with you," he says as he kisses the top of my head.

"Yeah, you're right. Also, you smell really good." And he did. He smelt of vanilla and mint. "Thanks for sniffing me," he chuckles. "Well I don't really have a choice. I'm squished up against you," I giggle.

Before he can reply I hear: "I knew it would happen!" From behind us. Both Andy and I let go and hug our parents immediately.

"Mom! Dad!" I cry out. I missed them so, so, so, much. I've been deprived of their presence for four months! "Liz!" They shouted as I suffocated the both of them in bear hugs.

"I missed you so much sweetie," my mom cries. "Wait, what's that?" They say together.

Oh god. The bandage from the hospital was still there. How could I forget?! "Oh, kitchen accident, nothing too serious." I smile, trying my best to hide my nervousness.

"Are you sure? Was it deep? How did it happen?" "Guys, chill I'm fine." Nice to know they cared still.

"Okay," my dad smiled. "So how was it with Andy for four weeks?" My mom smiles knowingly, my dad just has a scowl on his face. I pat his shoulder softly, in a calming manner.

I smile and look over at Andy. Only to see him staring at me while still talking to his parents, a cheesy grin taking over his face when we make eye contact.

"It was something else..."
