Chapter 6: The Finding

It was a bright morning on Paradise Island, when a man walked into (Y/N)'s office.

"Ma'am, I've found something that I think you'd like see," said the man.

(Y/N) was brought to the sight, and what she saw amazed her.

An engine that was rusted very much, had vines growing in his boiler, and he was snoring.

"Wake up!" said (Y/N).

The engine's eyes opened up, and he saw the people looking at him.

"Am I finally going to be cut up?" he asked.

"No," said (Y/N), "You're going to my works. There, you will be a really useful engine."

"Is it a heritage railway?"

"No, it's a working railway, on an island."

"Sodor?"

"Oh no, Sodor has closed down, you're going to Paradise Island, home of the North Eastern Railway, or as most call it, the Paradise Railway."

Soon, a lorry came forth, and the engine was loaded on.

(Y/N) brought the engine to the works, and Victor and Kevin were shocked to see him.

"My goodness!" said Victor, "This seems like a big job! Kevin, got the rust removal!"

"Yes boss!" said Kevin, as he rolled off, and crashed.

"That's our Kevin," said Victor.

The engine laughed, and said, "Reminds me of the LNER at times."

"Oh, I forgot, what is your name, my friend?"

"Dudley," said the engine.

"Well, we'll be sure to get you fixed Dudley," said Victor, as Kevin got the rust removal sprays.

6 weeks later, Dudley came out of the works, looking brand new!

"Welcome to the Paradise Railway, my friend," said Victor.

"Thank you Victor, now, if you don't mind, I'd like to go to the yards, and be really useful," said Dudley.

"Just go to the right, and you'll find the big station," said Victor, as Kevin made a mess again.

"I'll go see what Kevin is up to," said Victor, puffing back.

Dudley headed to Homestead, and there he saw
