Grim Grinning Ghosts

There are some ghost engines on the Paradise Railway, and they were all currently together, talking with each other.

Timothy

Afton

and the monster engine, Charles

Charles then said, "You know, it's been a while since we had a good scare. I mean, nobody has come into the forest for months, and well, I want a good scare for once."

"Well," said Afton, "What do you have in mind?"

"Well, Halloween Night allows us to roam around freely," said Charles, "So, how about we play some scares? I mean, Halloween is about spooks, right?"

"Well, I don't see why not," said Timothy, "Let's go with the big engines. They claim to be brave, but we show up, and scare the boiler sludge out of them."

"What do you have in mind?" asked Afton. Timothy then told them his idea.

That night, Farnsworth was taking the late night train. He then stopped at a signal, and said to himself, "Gordon, going on about that Charles."

"Yes?"

Farnsworth looked to the side, and said, "Not now, I'm not in the mood to......."

Farnsworth stopped, and looked to see Charles right next to him, smirking.

"Hello."

The signal dropped, and Farnsworth took off in a flash, as Timothy appeared, only with red eyes.

Timothy:
When the crypt doors creak
And the tombstones quake

Afton and Charles:
Spooks come out for a singing wake

Timothy:
Happy haunts materialize!

Afton and Charles:
And begin to vocalize!!

All three:
Grim Grinning Ghosts, come out to socialize!!!

Farnsworth then went into a tunnel, and the ghost and monster engine saw James coming out the other tunnel, and decided to have fun with him.

"Me on the Smelly Kipper," said James, "Why do I-"

Timothy:
Now don't close your eyes, and don't try to hide!!

Charles and Afton:
For a silly spook may sit by your side!!

Timothy:
Shrouded in a daft disguise

Afton and Charles:
THEY begin to terrorize!!

All three:
Grim Grinning Ghosts, Come out to Socialize!!

Afton then raced by Spencer with his single coach, as Timothy chased Diesel down the branch line, and Charles jumped out at Gordon, all while laughing.

Timothy:
As the moon flys high on the dead oak tree!!

Afton and Charles:
Spooks arrive for the midnight spree!!

Timothy:

Creepy creeps with eerie eyes

Afton:

Start to shriek and harmonize

All:
Grim grinning ghosts come out socialize

The trio was now chasing Percy with his mail train

Timothy:When you hear the knell of a requiem bell

Afton and Charles:
Weird glows gleam where spirits dwell

Timothy:
Restless bones etherealize

Afton and Charles:

Rise as spooks of every size

Thomas and Lady were in the sheds, and saw the three rush by, back to the abandoned line.

All:

Thomas looked at Lady, who was just as shocked as he was. They decided to leave the mystery alone.
