𝐎𝐦𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 | 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝐧𝐝.
As Aaliyah walked out of the nail salon her phone started to ring. It was Kaleb, despite her not speaking to Jayce they still spoke since they had built their own relationship as well as Sania being in involved.
"Hello." she said as she got into her car.
"Come and get ya little sidekick mane." he huffed making her laugh, she knew Sania could be a handful and couldn't imagine having to do it on her own.
"She driving you crazy?"
"Bro I tried to wash her hair and on my life she tried to drown me bro." Aaliyah tried to hold in her laughter because she could hear that he was tired.
"Pack her a bag I'll be there soon." she said, she pulled off and headed in the direction of his house. After parking she hopped out and walked up to the door and rang bell.
"Dada!" she heard Sania's little voice yell.
"Little girl I'm coming." he said, Kaleb opened the door and let Aaliyah in. Sania charged over and hugged her legs as tightly as she could so Aaliyah scooped her up and gave her a kiss.
"You driving ya daddy crazy huh?" Aaliyah tickled her belly which made her giggle.
"No TiTi." she said shaking her head.
"A damn liar." Kaleb said handing over the bag he packed.
"I packed a lot. But If you really have to bring her back it's fine." he said making Aaliyah laugh.
"Say bye baby." Aaliyah said as she pointed to Kaleb.
"Bye baby." Sania waved making them chuckle.
"Bye stink." he said kissing her cheek.

Aaliyah slipped the last of the beads onto the braid and tied them off before taking a picture. She gave Sania's hair a thorough wash and deep condition before styling it. They hadn't really done much today, which exactly what Aaliyah wanted.
"Pretty." Sania said looking in the mirror.
"You ready for dinner now?" the word dinner was Sania's favourite so she quickly followed Aaliyah to the kitchen.
She washed her hands and made them both a plate. Just as she was about to tuck in, Kaleb was calling her. She pressed accept and stood her phone up so she could eat.
"You broke my brother." he said, Aaliyah rolled her eyes. The break up was no one's business, Kaleb didn't need to interfere.
"I'm not talking about this with you." she shook her head.
"Well he won't leave me alone." Kaleb said as if it had something to do with her.
"Not my problem, say bye to your dad." she turned the camera to Sania who was stuffing her face. She simply waved as she was too interested in her food.
Aaliyah hung up and went back to enjoying her food. She was tired of Jayce being the topic of conversation when she spoke to people. She broke up with him for a reason and she prayed for the strength to learn to be alone.

I sang along to Giveon as I drove to my favourite restaurant. I'd just dropped off Sania and realised I didn't eat breakfast. So I was taking myself out to lunch. My music stopped and my phone started to ring, it was Brianna. This past week I've not been able to see her as much as I wanted to. I've been busy with either photoshoots or taking care of Sania.
"Hey babe." I greeted.
"You found a new best friend or something?" she asked with a sassy tone which made me laugh.
"No why?" I chuckled.
"I haven't heard from you."
"I'm sorry I've had Sania all weekend." I apologised, we'd only been messaging but I guess it could come across as avoiding her.
"Fine I guess you're forgiven." she sighed dramatically.
"How about you meet me for some lunch?" I asked, I didn't mind having lunch by myself. But I'd prefer to have it with my best friend.
"You know I can't say no to food, where?"
"That Chinese restaurant on Green avenue?" I said, I was fifteen minutes away but I didn't mind waiting if she'd be a while.
"I'll be there in twenty." I said goodbye and hung up, I got there a little before her but didn't have to wait to long. She walked in and sat down next to me. Call me weird but I hate being opposite someone.
"I thought you wasn't talking to me because of what happened."she said almost shyly.
"Girl please we too grown for that. I got mad the other day and threw my phone and welp it broke so I had to go and get a new one yesterday." I said, what went down between us wasn't a negative for me. So I'd never ignore her over that.
"Let me guess Jayce?"
"He's been complaining to Kaleb about the whole thing is all. I've had Kaleb calling me, even his mom tried to call me." I sighed, call me whatever but I blocked his mom.
She's always thought no one was good enough for his son. So why am I trying to be nice? We broke up so I hope I never have to see her again. Myself and Brianna ordered our food and changed topics.
