I'd been waiting for God knows how long, today was Aaliyah's birthday. And I wanted to take her somewhere but she said she already had plans. So I guess I gotta make this quick. I'd been planning for a long ass time so I'm hoping she'll be happy with it.

She walked over to the car, looking good as hell. Her face held a mug, since getting pregnant she literally had a resting bitch face all the time.

Whenever I was around her I tried my best not to be staring too hard but damn. She's always been beautiful but this pregnancy is slowly changing her body and she looks too damn good.

"You look happy." I said sarcastically only for her to roll her eyes.

"Can we get food before we go wherever?" she asked and I nodded.

The nearest place on route was McDonald's so I stopped off at the drive thru before heading to our destination.

"Are you busy the first week of October?" she asked before sipping her drink.

"Not really wassup?"

"Salice is planning a gender reveal."

I nodded my head, I didn't really care about a gender reveal or shower. But it was whatever made Aaliyah happy and hate me less at this point. I don't know if it's the babies or what but she don't like being around me too much.

The only time we see eachother is at appointments, and we barley talk then. I wanted to go shopping for the babies with her but she didn't feel up to it.

I looked over seeing that Aaliyah was still sleeping. As soon as she finished her food she was fast asleep. I hopped out and opened the passenger door.

"Wake up mama." I said taking off her seatbelt.

"Hm no." she mumbled trying to push me away.

I chuckled and helped her out of the car. She rubbed her eyes before looking around at where we were.

"Who are we here to see?" she frowned looking at the houses around us.

"Your new house." I said and her eyes grew wide.

"This....this is mine ?" she asked in pure disbelief. I knew Aaliyah loved her apartment but she didn't want to have the babies there, it wasn't big enough.

When we were last talking she mentioned not having any luck in finding a house. But I happened to have a friend in real estate and found the perfect place for her. Buying the house was bitter sweet, I knew it would make her happy but it hurt me to know I wouldn't be moving into the house with her and the babies.

"Mhm cmon." I said before walking up the driveway.

I unlocked the door and took her inside. I knew how close she was with her pops and Salice so I thought moving closer would make this a whole lot easier. The house was only a ten minute drive from their house.

Which was so much better than the forty-five minutes she usually had to drive to see them.

"This house is beautiful." she sniffled, her hormones had been working her real bad.

"You sure you like it?" I asked and she quickly nodded.

"I didn't get furniture because I know you picky as hell so we can go shopping whenever you want."
