Most of today had been spent finishing up with decorating for the holidays. Aaliyah was trying her best to be in the mood for it. But she was heavily pregnant and didn't know what to do. Her due date was right around the corner, but was still not due for a couple of weeks.

She was curled up on the couch watching tv while. Aaliyah looked at the time realising she needed to get ready. Tonight she was meeting Jayce for dinner. He said that he wanted to talk a few things over. She was exhausted but would rather go out than spend more time in the house.

She was expecting Brianna's arrival but still nothing. Brianna had been to see her in over two weeks and she hadn't received a message or anything.

For Aaliyah's outfit of the day she wore a cream jumpsuit, a teddy bear coat and some cream prada boots to match. This winter had been especially cold so she made sure to buy some decent jackets.

Half an hour later, Aaliyah was ready to go. And she loved the outfit that she had picked out for herself. She slipped on her coat and very slowly walked downstairs.

Aaliyah slowly waddled to the door when Jayce messaged saying he was here. She opened the door and waved him into the house.

Jayce walked up the drive with a confused look on his face. "We still going?" he asked.

"I can't put my shoes on please?" she asked.

Jayce chuckled but agreed to do so. He leaned down and put both boots on and laced them up before walking out to the car. He hadn't told her where they going but she wasn't exactly fussed.

"What did you wanna talk about?" Aaliyah asked.

"You need any help? You're due date is in a few weeks."

"No I've got everything covered. The nursery is officially done and my bags are packed." she shrugged, she felt ready, she was now just waiting for the arrival of her babies.

"So you ready for real then?" he chuckled.

"Yeah... I miss my body I hate this." she mumbled.

Jayce drove them to the club since he had left his work phone behind. But Aaliyah didn't mind she wanted to see the place he'd been spending all his time at. It wasn't too far of a drive from the restaurant he planned on taking her too either.

On arrival he was surprised to see that Aaliyah was so interested in his work. But he rushed around to help her out of the car.

"I'll be two seconds." he said and she nodded, meanwhile Aaliyah looked around at the interior design.

"Can I help you?" she heard, Aaliyah turned around to see a girl behind the bar. She stepped from behind the bar and Aaliyah had to stop her face from turning up.

Her bbl was terrifying and that's putting it nicely. "Nope I'm good." Aaliyah said keeping it short and sweet.

"Well we're not open so you can't be in here." the girl said while rolling her neck.

"I'm sure Jayce won't mind." Aaliyah said trying to be polite.

"How do you know Jayce exactly? He doesn't have hoes up in here." she said while looking Aaliyah up and down.

"Shyla why you running your mouth?!" Cassidy said, Aaliyah already knew Cassidy. She met her when Jayce was looking for a reliable assistant manager for the club. Aaliyah really liked Cassidy, she was sweet and was good at her job.

"I'm trynna figure out who the fuck this is."

"I'm tired of your attitude go scrub the damn floor or something." Cassidy said only for the girl to roll her eyes.

"What's with all the yelling?!" Jayce yelled as he walked down the stairs.

"Jayce who is this broad?" Shyla said pointed to Aaliyah.

"First of all my name is King to you, and secondly the mother of my children so fall the fuck back! Better yet get outta my club man." he pointed to the door.

"What? Jayce no, I need this job." she said quickly changing her tone of voice.

"And I need you to get the hell out." Jayce said, she smacked her lips before storming out of the club.

"I been waiting for your ass to do that anyways, how you feeling?" Cassidy gave Aaliyah a hug.

"I'm feeling too damn big right now, how are you?"

"I can't complain this place is keeping me busy."

"As fun as this is, we gotta go grab dinner. Cass call me if there's an emergency." Jayce said pulling Aaliyah away before she stood there talking away.

"You got it, bye sexy." she winked at Aaliyah.

"I like her." Aaliyah chuckled as they walked out.

"Fruity as hell." Jayce mumbled as he opened the door for her.

Aaliyah sat at the table, rubbing her belly. They'd been at dinner for over an hour now. Jayce was wondering what things would be like when the babies are born.
In his dream world they would all be in one home together.

"What's ya birthing plan?" he asked making her chuckle, he'd been paying special attention during her last appointment.

"I plan on a water birth but if anything happens earlier it will have to be a c section."

"Earlier? They can come earlier than they due date?"

"Yes, it's apparently normal with twins." she shrugged.

They left not ping after and Aaliyah managed to convince him to grab some dessert. They headed to
a dessert parlour, Aaliyah sat on one side of the booth eating ice cream while Jayce sat in the other. Aaliyah didn't mind staying out a little longer because she was going back to an empty house.

Jayce noticed that Aaliyah was constantly checking her phone. "I'm biting you or something?"

"No sorry, I've not heard from Brianna." Aaliyah put her phone in her purse.

Jayce cleared his throat wondering how to tell her, not only what happened but what he thought. They were doing good and didn't want to ruin anything so he decided to tell her what happened but keep his opinion out of it.

"She came by the other day, you was asleep. She looked pissed that I was there...then I asked for her key back. The. She stormed out but she sat it front in her car waiting for me to leave."

Aaliyah held her head in her hands, "This is why she's been ignoring me?"

He shrugged, "We both know I don't care about that, she a goofy." Jayce shook his head.

"Jayce don't say that." Aaliyah sighed.

Aaliyah didn't want to talk more on the subject. Her biggest priority right now was herself and the babies, nothing else.
